Dinah's POV

"Oh shit," Demi says cupping her hand over her mouth as her eyes widen a bit, "I'm sorry, I didn't know you didn't know."

I smile reassuringly as my phone begins to ring, "Don't even worry about it. I'm just happy she found someone."

I answer the phone stepping away from Lauren and Demi.

"Hello Kehlani." I say bringing the phone up to my ear.

"Sorry for not telling you I had a girlfriend," She says in a single breath, her words slurring together, "I was gonna tell you when we got together for girls night."

"But y'all have been dating for a while," I argue, "Why are you just now gonna tell me?"

"You see what had happened was," She starts but clears her throat and whispers never mind, "I ain't even gonna lie to you because I don't even have a good excuse and I won't have a good one until I get in the shower."

I roll my eyes and turn to look at Lauren who's now talking to Doctor West.

"Look Lani, I'd love to continue our little argument, but the doctor is here now," I hold up a single finger as Doctor West motions for me to follow them, "I'll talk to you later."

"Alright, but tell Demi I said "What's poppin'" with her sexy ass," I chuckle and roll my eyes, "I'm gonna have a good excuse tonight so look forward to it."

"Whatever, I got to go," I say already pulling the phone away from my ear, "Peace."

"Deuces." She responds loudly. I roll my eyes once more and hang up, walking over to Demi.

"Lani says what's poppin' with yo' sexy ass," I laugh and walk away, grabbing Lauren's hand once I'm standing next to her.

...

"So have y'all come up with baby names?" Doctor West asks as she rubs the jelly on Lauren's stomach.

"Nope, not yet," I say grabbing Lauren's hand and kissing her knuckles, "We wanted to know the sex before coming up with names."

"What do you guys think it is?" Doctor West asks, pushing her sleeves up slightly. She picks up the transducer after turning the monitor on and looks up at us.

"I think it's a boy," I tell her shrugging as she raises an eyebrow, "I've had a feeling for a while."

"I don't care if it's a boy or a girl," Lauren says smiling down at her stomach, "I'll be happy either way. But I agree with Dinah, I'm pretty sure it's a boy."
