Never Have I Ever

Lauren's POV

"So," Normani says after a few seconds of silence. I look up and raise an eyebrow waiting for her to finish her sentence, "What are we gonna do?"

I shrug and look around the room, "First we're gonna wait until the other girls get here and then we're gonna have a good time."

"Wait," Mani says, looking at me confused, "Other girls? I thought we were only waiting on Ashley."

"I invited this girl named Summer, she doesn't have anyone here with her except her boyfriend," I tell her and then remember the girl from the doctors, "And Dinah invited her best friend's girlfriend, her name is Demi."

"Oh cool," Mani says and leans back on the couch, pulling out her phone, "So, did you and Dinah find out the sex of the baby?"

I nod, smilingly as I rub my growing stomach, "Yeah, but Dinah and I are gonna keep it a secret for a while until we're able to have a baby shower."

Mani smirks and nods her head, I raise an eyebrow getting ready to question her on it, but there's a knock at the door.

"Laur," Mani says shaking her head as I stand up, "You stay seated, I'll get the door."

A few seconds later, Mani walks in with the other girls. Ashley smiles and kisses my forehead, sitting on the couch with me, Summer waves shyly and sits on the couch with Mani and Demi does the same.

"Hey girls," I smile, "What do y'all wanna do?" I ask sitting up.

"I really wanna get to know you guys," Ashley says and smiles looking around, "We should play some games to get to know each other."

"What type of games?" Summer asks, making herself more comfortable. I shrug looking at Mani. She always has good ideas.

"Never have I ever? Without the drinking of course," Mani says. I nod and Demi does as well.

"So," I start after we all agree on playing, "Who's starting?"

"I don't know," Demi says and shrugs, pushing her hair back, "Maybe the person with the closest birthday? Mine is in August. "

"Alright then, mine is in June," I say.

"July," Summer says.

"December," Ashley says and smiles, her dimples showing.

"Well," Mani says, "I guess I'm going first. Mine is in May."

"Wait," Ashley says, "Is this the dirty version or clean?"

We all look around and nod, "Dirty."

"I guess that settles it," Mani says and holds up 5 fingers, the rest of us do the same, "Never have I ever had the birds and bees talk with my parents."

Ashley groans and puts down her pinky finger, "It was more like the hotdog and taco talk."

I chuckle and shake my head thinking of something I've never done, "Never have I ever played never have I ever to look like less of a hoe."

Mani and Demi both roll their eyes and put doen their pinkies, "I gotta know I'm not the only one doing hoe-ish things." Mani says with Demi nodding in agreement.
