A/N Hey guys. I know you probably were looking for an update, but I figured hey, I might as well address this while I can.

So, Normani has been receiving a lot of hate, from a lot of Camilizers, I'm not gonna say all of them because I happen to know a few who aren't blatantly discriminatory to anyone because of race. It's hard to process that someone, anyone could be mean and use someone's race to hurt them. And I'm sick of hearing that "love only" bullshit when things as important as this are being ignored and thrown out of the window.

When will this stop?

I am so sorry that Normani had to go through this, she even had to go as far as removing herself from Twitter, yet so many people still think that racism in any way, shape or form is acceptable. Its not! My aunt always says "Racism springs from the lie that certain human beings are less than fully human. It's a self-centered falsehood that corrupts our minds into believing we are right to treat others as we would not want to be treated." It's a quote by Alveda King.

No one ever wants to step into the victims shoes and see out of the looking glasses they call eyes, but the exact moment that someone so near and dear to them gets hurt, they jump in to action to fight. So when those same people see someone of a different race, getting racially abused, where is the "love only" rants?

It's a constant struggle to see someone of the same racial background as you getting derogatory terms spewed at them left and right. No one can be strong for forever, at some point you grow weak and tired. And at that point, if change is not yet made, something has to be done. I'm not saying go out and do anything to harm anyone in any type of way, I'm saying educate yourself.

Remember, people generally see what they look for and hear what they listen for. Sometimes you might need a magnifying glass to see the smaller things, but the smaller things have the most details, you need those little things to make the bigger picture. In other words, be aware of what's around you.

#BlackLivesMatter #WhiteLivesMatter #LatinoLivesMatter
#AsianLivesMatter

No matter what the hashtag is, the hashtag alone won't make a difference. We as people make a difference and it won't happen if we fall into the vacant abyss of oppression. It doesn't matter who you are or where you're from #AllLivesMatter.

Once again, I am truly sorry that Normani had to deal with that. You'll never understand until you look around you and educate yourself. Racism is skin deep, look beyond that and see people for how much love they have for a stranger and how much knowledge they have.
....
I love you guys and I'll do my best to update as soon as possible.
