Your On Your Own

The house is quiet as I open my eyes from the most restless sleep I have had in a long time. 6:45am. Ugh! I grab my phone to call Cory. "Tash?" He says in a groggy voice as he answers. "How's my mum?" I ask unsure.  "The snowhawk is out of her system, get yourself down here so we can get this out of her head." I hang up, put on some sneakers and start driving.

"Okay, what do you want us to make her think, remember and forget?" Peter asks. "She will move back to Atlanta. Meet someone nice and leave the house here in Peach Hills, along with me. I am staying. She will know she has a daughter but she doesn't love me. Forget all about the supernatural." I say staring her directly in the eyes so she knows what the boys will be repeating. "Good, you selfish little bitch!" She yells back, and I know she meant every word. "Tell her to forget about having a daughter too. Don't just say she doesn't love me. I don't want her to remember me." I turn around slam the door shut and head straight for the kitchen. A tear rolls down my eye. I need a little fun in my screwed up life. I say to myself quietly. "I know where to party." I hear Mia say standing behind me. Yeah, I forgot vampires can hear everything. "Hi Mia." I say with a smart ass attitude. She smiles back. "So where is the party?" I ask intrigued to know. "They are everywhere, or if you want. Make one, right here in this place." She explains. "And how do you expect I do that?" I ask. Just as she is about to answer the boys walk out with my mum, well what used to be my mother. I kind of regret getting rid of the only parent I have, but she lied, and a lie like that almost killed my friends. "Where am I?" She asks. "Sorry ma'am, you needed to use our phone to make a phone call now your on your way out, good luck going to Atlanta." Peter compels to her. "So Mia, this party?" I ask after my 'mother' leaves. "Okay, we are vampires are we not? We can compel the whole town to come to this party." Mia replies easily.  "Wanna help? We can turn you into one of us and the four of us can live happily ever after." She continues. I actually consider turning, I have nothing else, but I want kids, I want to have a family and grow old so, "No, you guys do the compulsion. What if we have it at my house? I can control everyone that comes inside and will not invite anyone in, if someone cannot get in. We will know." I explain. They nod.

So I do, and bringing Peter with me so we can set up quicker. After its done we go get boos. "Sir hello. We want the ute and fill it up with the whole bar." He compels the liquor store owner. After topping up his ute he compels him with one more thing. "Forget we were here, you do not know how anything was stolen and you will delete all camera footage as I leave." The man nods, smiles and walks off.

"Giving back the Ute?" I ask him. "Yep, he will get it back, eventually." He throws a mischievous giggle. When we get back to the house we start setting up the alcohol. Alcohol in all rooms, food and a tub full of ice. "So, this is it. Your on your own now Tash, but just know you've got us." Peter says sincerely as we finishing setting up. "Wow Peter, that's the first meaningful thing you've said, thankyou." I smile. "And if you feel lonely just know I can fill those holes in your heart." He winks. "And back to the disgusting Peter. Ew!" I respond. Though he is kinda cute. No. No. Just as I turn around to check my phone Cory and Mia come back. "So how did it go?" I question them. "So good!! So like everyone is coming. I'm so getting laid tonight!" Mia squeals. "Mia your in a 12 year old body." I tell her. "Hmm. Oh innocent Tasha, I have a special little thing I can do. It's called having attitude and looking older, plus I'm lucky to have boobs so I look at least 16." I raise one eyebrow and look at Cory. "By the way she isn't a virgin she's pretty much a slut!" Cory says and they all start laughing, including Peter. I start giggling. "Okay guys now I'm gonna play an adult here. Well until the guests arrive.
