Pharaoh's mother opened the door and immediately covered her mouth with her hands.
"Hi Mrs. King." Ka'Miko smiled.
Pharaoh's mother started crying and Khaleesi buried her head in Ka'Miko's neck. She was confused more than anything.
"She's so beautiful." Pharaoh's mom said.
"Thank you, say thank you, Khaleesi." She smiled.
"Thanks." She whispered softly.
"You're welcome, baby. I can't wait till they see her." She said as she allowed them in.
Ka'Miko took off Khaleesi's coat and boots before taking off her own shoes. Pharaoh's mom took their things and hung it up. Khaleesi stood with her hands stretched up to Ka'Miko to pick her up. Ka'Miko did so and Khaleesi clung to her.
"The special guest are here!" Pharaoh's mother announced happily, walking ahead of of the two.
Everyone looked up towards the door as Ka'Miko entered the room. They all stared blank faced. They didn't see the little girl's face. Her hair covered most of it, while she leaned her head on her mother's shoulder.
"Ain't this some shit!" Quincy laughed, as he took a bite of his chicken.
Ka'Miko stared at Pharaoh, looking for his reaction. She swallowed the knot in her throat. His eyes left Khaleesi and met hers. Anger quickly rushed over him.
"Is this the little princess?" Kalicoe broke the silence, noticing the tension.
Ka'Miko didn't respond as she engaged in Pharaoh's intimidating staring contest.
"Take a seat." Pharaoh's mother, pulled out the chair next to her that happened to be directly across from Pharaoh.
"I've been dying to pull this out." Pharaoh's mother went into the kitchen and brought out a high chair.
"Aww, that's cute. Thank you." Ka'Miko smiled, and tried to place Khaleesi inside.
"No, mommy." She whined.
"Behave." Ka'Miko warned her. She pouted but obeyed, allowing herself to be placed inside.
Ka'Miko brought it close to her, "Better?"
Khaleesi nodded, even though she still frowned.
"So..that's Pharaoh's daughter?" Rocky asked.
Ka'Miko nodded.
"Hm." He smirked, and looked at Pharaoh who just stared at the little girl.
"It's not his baby. It doesn't even look like him." Samya chimed.
"First, let's make it clear, don't call my daughter an 'it', she has a name, use it. Second, I haven't slept with anyone else so who's baby could it possibly be? Please explain." Ka'Miko barked at her.
Ka'Miko was extremely protective, over her child. She didn't care if Samya or anyone wanted to disrespect her, but the second they brought her child into it, it was a whole different story. That was the kind of disrespect she wouldn't take the high road about.
"Let's just relax. Everyone make a plate and we'll just eat and talk calmly." Pharaoh's mother interjected.
Everyone made themselves a plate of fried chicken, collard greens, macaroni pie, buscuits and green salad. They ate in silence, Ka'Miko fed Khaleesi who was especially quiet.
"You okay, baby?" Ka'Miko asked her.
She just nodded.
"She's shy, huh?" KJ finally spoke.
