It was almost 5pm when Ka'Miko recieved the call from KJ that Pharaoh had been arrested. For some reason she rushed right down there to see him.
She didn't want to bring Khaleesi to the police station but it was too short notice for her to call anyone to watch her.
"I'm here to see Pharaoh King." She told the lady at the front desk.
She was dark skinned and a little over weight, she had a permanent mean mug on her face. She eyed Ka'Miko up and down.
She had her hair in a tight big high bun, she was still wearing her short cotton house shorts, and white tank top. She pulled an oversized cardigan over herself and slid on black uggs. She knew she looked a mess and
holding a child in her hands didn't help; but her appearance wasn't her main concern.
The woman shook her head and mumbled, "Another hoodrat, jail baby mama bites the dust."
"Bitch please, don't try to get cute with me cause I will show you who's really going to bite the dust." Ka'Miko yelled.
Khaleesi woke up a bit and Ka'Miko bounced her gently to soothe her back to sleep.
"Relax ma'am or you'll never see your jailbird." The woman scoffed sarcastically.
Ka'Miko glared at her but, decided to relax.
"Officer Simpson will escort you to your friend. From the looks of it he's never getting out, enjoy the time." She smirked as Ka'Miko folliwed the female officer.
"Don't mind her." Officer Simpson said over her shoulder.
Ka'Miko just nodded as they walked deeper into the building. As they approached the door, Ka'Miko decided she didn't want Khaleesi in there with her.
"Can you take her please?" Ka'Miko asked kindly.
"Sure. We'll just be out front in the waiting room." Officer Simpson took Khaleesi.
"Thank you." Ka'Miko said.
"No problem. Good luck." She replied and walked away.
As the door slid open Pharaoh sat behind a glass with a phone in hand. Ka'Miko took a seat and picked up the phone on her side. She immediately felt angry and hurt.
"How'd you get here?" Ka'Miko asked.
"Got set up." He sighed.
His grey eyes wandering the room, avoiding eye contact.
"You happy?" She asked sarcastically.
"Don't start." He growled at her.
"Don't tell me shit! Look what you've done!" She yelled at him.
"You all worked up like you the mothafucka in this bitch!" He yelled back
"I have a right to be worked up, Pharaoh, cause you did this shit to me after you promised me you wouldn't." She said as she began to cry.
He didn't respond as she broke out in sobs.
"You know ever since we met I've tried to be everything you wanted me to be. In the process, I found out who I truly wanted to be." Ka'Miko began, tears rapidly flowing down her cheeks.
"It's crazy because no matter what I defended my decision to stick with you. I fought with my family and myself mostly," she sniffled and used her sleeve to wipe the snot coming from her nose. "You still didn't want me. I still wasn't good enough. You wanted someone else...are you satisfied with where it's gotten you?" She asked the question, but it was rhetorical the answer was obvious.
