"Ray, honestly, I do not want to do this." Ka'Miko groaned as he dragged her to the bridal store.

"You need some motivation. I have a feeling you are just afraid of commitment, and that's all fine and dandy, but I want you to get married so we can cut the shit." He said as he held open the door.

Ka'Miko just stood there glaring at him, her heart pounded in her chest, for some reason, the thought of marriage overwhelmed her.

"Vaminos." Raymond snapped at her.

She took a step inside the lightly lit store. White gowns were everywhere, long ones, shorts one, poofy ones, slim fitting ones.

"Goodness." She breathed.

"Hi, I'm Jennifer, how can I help you today?" A petit blond came with a 100 watt smile.

"We need to find her a gown." Raymond answered for her.

"Aww, fabulous. What is the bride to be looking for today? What's your style?" She smiled.

"My, um, I'm not a bri-" She stumbled on her words, still looking around the store.

"She's not engaged, well she is. We're trying to get her motivated into marriage, she got a case of cold feet, and we're tryna warm 'em on up." Raymond gave her an encoraging smile.

She sighed.

"Alright, follow me. I'll get you two some champagne, and we can get started."

"Thank you, darling. Now we want something that will compliment her figure. Be nice enough to show off her ass, but not make her look like a tramp." Raymond explained as they got seated on white comfy couched.

"I'll pull a few and she can try some on." She smiled as she brought out the champagne and left.

"Relax, Kam. You look like you're about to pass out." Raymond laughed.

"Mhm." She just nodded and gulped down her glass of champagne.

Her legs were trembling, she took deep breaths in an attempt to calm her nerves.

"Let get started." Jennifer came back and almost squeeled.

'Just trying on dresses, not getting married.' She told herself repeatedly as she slipped into the dress.

She looked at herself in the detailed strapless gown. The top was beautiful, unique, one said saw a classical white smooth side, while the other was like sharp, but beautiful incrested petals. It kind of reminded her of her life, one side that was once smooth sailing, the happiness she had when she was under her father's protection, and had her mother's love. The other side, was her life with Pharaoh, beautiful chaos. Like their love, the petals looked sharp, but were soft against her skin. The bottom flaired out into a ball gown with a 5 inch train following it.

*DRESS TO THE RIGHT

"You look absolutely gorgeous. I know it's not slim fitting around the butt region, but I figured you would like this one. It's one of a kind, and compliments your shape beautifully. Now, if you want another dress for the reception that's a little more form-fitting, I can pull some of those as well." Jennifer babbled on, but Ka'Miko was so focused on her reflection.

She felt water building up in her eyes.

"Do you want to show your friend?" She asked.

She took a deep breath, and exhaled, "Yes."

She stepped out, and Raymond almost choked on his champagne.

"Kam..." His voice trailed off, "You look so beautiful!" He said, sounding breathless.
