Mulder sat at large wooden table reading the files on the other murder victims. The police were baffled by the strangeness of the case. There were no fingerprints or leads to go on. Mulder only hoped that could figure the case out.

As he continued to read he realized that he was right about how the other victims were found. Carolina Emmertson and Jackson Ricely were found two days after Molly and Daniel near the same spot. They had been tied together with sturdy fisherman's rope and their bodies were thrown into the shallows. Mulder could only conclude one thing from the reports: It seemed as if the murderer wanted to be caught. No true vigilante would throw their victims bodies into the shallow water. They would dispose of them as far out into the ocean as they could. As he continued to thumb through the reports Scully burst into the room. He looked up in surprise and asked her what she had found out.

"Mulder, two words: Love Potion." She said gasping for air.

"Love potion? Do you mean ecstasy?" Mulder asked as he stood up.

"Bingo," Scully said as she pressed her tongue to the roof of her mouth. "I found incredibly high traces of the drug in their blood. Higher than any regular user of the drug would ever dare to take."

Mulder paced around the room, trying to get inside the killer's head. Who would do this, why would they do this? He began to think about motives, what would compel someone to kill six people. Lovers, of all things.

"Is it safe to say then, that our victims were drugged and then drowned?" Mulder asked as he bit his fingernail.

"I wouldn't say that it's not a possibility. Only time will tell until we get the other bodies in for a toxicological." She said as she slowly tapped her foot.

"Let's do that as soon as we can." Mulder agreed. Just then the sheriff barged in the room and said the words that Mulder and Scully didn't want to hear:

"More bodies."

The agents followed the sheriff down to the crime scene. It was underneath a dock, this time where the new victims were found. Mulder and Scully stood on the shore as they watched the two new bodies be lured out of the water. Scully turned around to avoid the gruesome sight. She didn't know why she was able to dissect a dead human body but become
sick, watching as one is found.

They loaded the two victims onto the ambulance and Mulder and Scully were left speechless, standing on the white sand with the Sheriff.

"Sheriff Lockley, did Yentz predict this one too?" Mulder said as he squinted from the sun.

"No. We haven't contacted him since the last murders." Lockley said.

"Well, sheriff, I would find it in our best interest to have him meet us at the station in twenty minutes," Mulder said flatly as he glanced at his watch.

Oscar Yentz was sitting at a silver metal table in the interrogation room, awaiting Scully and Mulder's arrival. When the two agents showed up, he stood politely and introduced himself.

"Mr. Yentz," Scully began, "Did you predict these new victims deaths?"

Yentz's old eyes closed slowly and then opened. He was in his late sixties, tired and wrinkled from the sun. He wore a blue polo shirt and his remaining hair was slicked back. He seemed saddened by the question Scully had asked him.

"They came into my office three days ago, wondering why I had matched them up. You see, the two were not exactly simpatico at the moment. I told them to make the most of their days together." Yentz said in a raspy voice.

"Cut the crap, Yentz. Did you predict their deaths or not?" Mulder demanded.

"Yes. But I didn't tell them that."

"And why not?" Scully asked as she leaned back in her chair.

"Would you want to know if you were going to die in three days?" He asked with a chuckle.

The three sat in silence for a minute or two before Mulder spoke up.

"Mr. Yentz, I must ask you-"

"Did I kill them? No. What motive could I possibly have?"

"Bad word about your 'psychic matchmaking' getting around town and eventually shutting you down. You said yourself that they didn't get along." Mulder said sharply.

"Haven't you ever heard that opposites attract, Mr. Mulder?"

"Haven't you ever heard that lying under oath is against the law?" Scully interjected.

"I swear on my life that I didn't kill any of these people. I do not control what I predict, but I can control my actions. Killing is something that I would never do." Yentz said as he looked Mulder in the eye.

The agents analyzed the psychic. His actions, his words, his eyes. Moments passed before Scully leaned over to her partner and whispered in his ear that she believed him. Mulder agreed.

"Well, Yentz. You're free to go," Mulder said as Yentz began to stand, "Except under one term: you have to tell me who my perfect match is."

Scully's eyes opened wide and she wiggled nervously in her seat. She wasn't prepared for this. For the outcome. What if Yentz said her name. Worse yet, what if he didn't?

"My dear, Mr. Mulder, " Oscar Yentz said as he turned to face the young agent,"What good would my prediction do when you already know who your perfect match is?"
