Prosperity

Here as we lay to fade in a field of green
Gasping for our last breaths we see
Our life in a flash

Every moment we hold dear
Every painful sin we endeared
Just to see what it reveled

All the times we criticized
All the times we hide
Just to make one thing clear
This is who we were

The childish fantasies we believed once were real
Shatter before our feet
As time deletes

Trying to grasp ahold of fables
But growing older it becomes fatal
Still we chase them

Resulting into falling in a treacherous abyss
Losing the bliss
Life becoming dull

Losing sight of the worthwhile
As we travel these miles
Seeking our happily ever after

Without realize the small things
Is where prosperity springs
