My Happy Ending

Glass is shattering, floor is cracking

And I'm falling through

Walls getting narrow, light getting darker,

And the ground I hit.

Colder and colder this ground becomes

Halls grow longer and longer,

All I want is to find my happy ending.

I wander down these halls, following the scratches on the ground and the stain red walls

Being lead to a great stairway,

Fearing what I will see as I climb my way up.

Whispers flooding my thoughts with every step I take,

Slowly becoming use to the whispers, and quickly they fall silent

While reaching the last step

Is this my happy ending? If so, it's so dark.
