I really think my brain liquid thing is still off because a second ago I could of sworn I saw Devin. He appeared in my room then disappeared. I'm probably just seeing things. I go to the sink and rinse my face with water.

"Ahhhhh!" I scream and run out my room.

"Condy, what happened?" My dad meets me at the door.

"Someone's in my room! Devin's in my room! The guy from the dream! Come see!" I drag him in my room and to the bathroom but no one's in there.

"This is a beautiful rock." He picks up the rock Devin gave to me.

"No, no, no. Th-Tha-That rock wasn't there. I left it on the bed." My dad leads me by my arm to my bed and makes me sit.

"I think you're still a little delusional. Just relax a little, ok?" I nod taking deep breathes, he puts the rock on my dresser and leaves and closes my door. I start hearing shuffling from my closet. I take even deeper breathes. I'm just delusional.

"Fuck." Devin trips out of my closet. He ruffles his hair then dusts off his clothes. "Sorry, I think I might of messed up your closet a bit. I really don't know how I got in there." He laughs. I start hyperventilating and jump on my bed to grab my baseball bat.

"Woah there, ma, don't get all crazy." He nervously laughs. "Aren't you happy to see me?"

"Happy? How am I supposed to be happy right now? Something that wasn't real is just...real now. Happy is the last thing I'd feel. This is crazy." I drop the bat.

"Not crazy, awesome." He sits on my bed.

"I got some questions, and I need some answers." I stand near him but not too close. "How are you here?"

"This might take a while. You sure you don't wanna take a seat?" I sit on the opposite side of my bed as far as possible from him. He rolls his eyes. "You weren't scared of me in your dreams I don't know why you're scared now."

"Uh maybe because I was dreaming."

"Ok whatever. Anyways, so the dream world is a whole 'nother universe. It's a different world, literally. Out of the whole entire place, there's this one rock, this one." The rock appears in his hand.

"How'd you do that? It was on my dresser."

"Not important right now. So everyone in the dream side is looking for the rock so they can come into the real world."

"Why would they want to come here? You can do whatever you want, can't you?"

"Not quite, dreams are controlled by you guys, not us. Back to the rock, I found this rock last week when I went scooba diving with this dude. So I hid it, because if anyone knew I had it, trust me they'd do anything to get it from me. Once you find the rock all you have to do is ask someone to let you in their world, much like I did. And that's about it."

"Hm, I really shouldn't be believing this but I've got nothing to lose. My life's boring anyway. But you seem so different now, why were you so weird in my dreams?"

"It's the atmosphere here, that shit literally makes you crazy. That's why sometimes you do stupid things in dreams." He looks around my room.

"Wow." I poke him in the chest and my finger doesn't go through like I expected it to. He raises an eyebrow at me. "Sorry I just wanted to try it." I pull my finger back. "Another question. So was all of that swimming and going through caves and shit dreams, even the second time it happened?"

"Oh of course not, I mean the first time was a dream but when you went back to the pond that was real."

"Wait so I actually swam through the tunnel and stuff?" He nods. What? This just got ten times more clear but confusing at the same time. "So the pond is clear?"
