Devin's family was so nice to me. His mom made a delicious dinner and I talked with his sisters a bit until we fell asleep. But something woke me up that night. I lay still a bit scared because I'm in the guest room by myself. I'll just turn the lamp on. But when I do, I see light blue jeans, up to a black, shirt, up to black then blonde curly hair. I scream then back off the bed all the way to the wall.

"Condy, baby, relax." He takes two steps closer.

"One, I'm not your baby, two, I can't relax because you're here!"

"Condy, are y-" Devin's mom stops in motion when she sees Devin.

"Mom." You could tell that he missed her.

"Devin, so it's true?" She seems on the verge of tears.

"Yes, but it's not as bad as you think ma."

"Devin yes it is, you give her that rock right now," She sniffles. "and come home."

"You know I ca-"

"You can. Everyone misses you Dev."

"Mom, I can't!" The whole house shifted. Devin looked down at his opened palms and steadily breathed. Lexi, Jazzy, and his dad came running towards the room and paused. We all stared anticipating on what he'll do next, our nervous breathes and after creaks of the house being the only sounds. He clenches his hands causing the house to shift once again.

"Devin....."Jazzy is on the verge of tears realizing what her brother has become. Her parents and Lexi try to stop her but she runs to Devin and locks him in a tight hug. She phased him but he hugs back then stops to hold her shoulders. "Why are you doing this Dev, what are you doing?"

"Jazzy, you want me to be happy, right, don't you?" She nods. "I love you and I want to stay with you guys," She smiles. "but I have to do this." He stands up straight. "I want this more."

"What, what more?" She panics. The house starts to shake again until I feel myself fall to the floor from a couple feet. I open my eyes and stand up to see I'm in my house.

"Now we can be together," He hugs me. "forever."

"Devin," I gently push him off and slide my hands down his arms to hold his hands. He smiles. "we can't." I take the rock and beam it to the floor. It shatters into hundreds of pieces. He starts to laugh.

"What'd you think would happen? I'd be sent back or something." He laughs again. "Now I'm stuck here, for good." My mind spins. I thought this is what Marisia said. I still don't know what to do next. The rock pieces start to glow and move around. They spelled 'into the hole'. Then the ground began to shake and a big black hole appeared. I ran my fastest and pushed Devin into the hole but he grabbed my arm and I fell in with him.

We're in a pitch black area but I can see him clearly and I assume he can see me too. I stand up and scan my surroundings but it's all pitch black. Devin starts to walk to me.

"Stop! Don't come near me! I...I hate you!" He seems taken aback.

"Oh my god Condy! Why can't you just be grateful of all I've done for you?" He yells back.

"All you've done for me? All you've done for me? Are you serious Devin? You've done nothing but make my life worse!"

"I made it better and you know that! I loved you! I love you."

"Shut up, I don't wanna hear it! I wish I never met you!" I felt light headed and we fell to the ground to find ourselves on my kitchen floor.

"How could you say that?"

"Devin, I hate you, you ruined everything for me! You just make things worse and worse! I just never want to see you ever again!"

"Stop saying that!" He yells very hurt and grabs my wrists. I snatch them out of his grip.

"Leave me alone!" I push him away.

'The knife, the knife...' Something whispers in my ear. I run towards the counter and slowly pick up the knife.

"Come on Condy, don't do this." He tries to convince me but my feet just take me closer and closer as he backs up further and further. "I'm sorry, don't do anything you regret." He gives a lopsided smile. "Just give me the knife." He sticks his hand out and mine goes closer but the other part of me doesn't want to give it to him.

'Condy, don't fall for it.'

"Condy, don't do this." He says one last time before the knife goes straight into his chest. I pause and see the life linger out of him and he drop to the ground. It feels as if I wasn't myself and something else did it but I know I was holding the knife. My breathe quickens until I feel light-headed and faint."
