"Hey Condy." Kyree struggles to stand up.
"Hey, you don't have to stand up." I walk to him.
"Nah, I'm good." He finally gets up and opens his arms for a hug. Well I can't just not hug him, he tried too hard to even stand up. I mentally sigh then hug him and he holds it for extra long. Ok I don't wanna make assumptions but kinda don't like where this is going. "You look nice today." He sincerely smiles.
"Thanks." I try to smile back but it ends up more like an awkward stare.
"It's Friday, right?" He asks but isn't writing anything on his homework.
"Yea."
"You doing anything tomorrow?"
"Uh yea, my schedule is kinda unexpected I only know what I'm gonna do that same day, you know so I'm probably busy." I lie.
"What about today?" Fuck.
"You're not even healed yet, I bet you're still really sore and you saw how hard it was so stand up. You should just stay here until you feel better."
"Can we meet next weekend?" He hopefully smiles. I pull out my phone and go to my calendar. Ok wait, this is some bullshit right here. Why am I even looking in my calendar? Let me get myself together with my issues about Devin and I dating. If this dude is trying to ask me out, Devin is my boyfriend. I am not going out with Kyree. He's sweet and all but cringe.
"Actually, I just remembered..."
"You have something to do all next week?"
"No, it's that I have a boyfriend, sorry."
"Wait I thought you weren't dating Devin."
"He just asked me out, yesterday, what a coincidence." I shrug.
"Oh." He looks down disappointed. I feel bad but oh well. "That's cool, let's do this homework."

It's been two weeks and stuff is still dissapearing and Devin has been acting weird as fuck. I'm actually starting to get really worried. I had this creepy dream where everything was gone except for Devin. I couldn't even sleep by him that night. I walk to the bus stop leaving Devin at home. I need some time without him, even a few minutes would count.
~~~~~~~~~~
"Condy, you ok? You've been so distant lately." Devin scares me a little.
"Yea, I'm good." I walk into our first class.
"You still going to Kyree's today?"
"I kinda have to, he needs the homework." Devin nods.
~~~~~~~~~~
Turns out I don't need to go to Kyree's. None of the teachers gave me work to give him. They didn't even mention him today like he never existed or something.
"Guess you don't have to go today?" Devin opens the door for me. I'm not gonna complain, I didn't really want to today. When I get in my room Devin closes the door then gets on one knee in front of me. "Condy, will you be my girlfriend?" He says holding my hands.
"Oh my gosh," I laugh. "yes, I will." He stands up and we kiss. I get my phone and look for the Angie's number but it wasn't there, Cici's wasn't either. Ok, weird I guess. I'll just tell them tomorrow at school. Devin distracts me by taking my phone.
"No texting, it's smooching time." He pulls me close by my waist.
