"Devin, wake up." I shake him a little. I already showered and now it's his turn. "Devin."

"Hm."

"You gotta wake up now."

"Mm." He doesnt move.

"Devin if you don't wake up I'm going to leave you here," He still doesn't move. "and you're going to have to stay in my room for eight hours." He sucks his teeth and grumpily gets up. He takes the rock and his clothes into the bathroom. While he's showering I make some breakfast.

"In the middle of the party!" He comes downstairs dancing with Broccoli on full volume.

"Someone's happy this morning."

"Duh, I'm lit."

"You were just salty a minute ago when I woke you up."

"But now I'm lit. I get to go to school with you, tell me that isn't cool. I get to see your daily life and hang out with you all day." He stuffs his mouth with sausages. "Ew. I don't like eggs." He pushes it on my plate.

"How do you not like eggs?"

"Or cheese." He opens the eggs to stretch the cheese inside. "It's gross." He gets the chills. "But I really like waffles." Devin pours the syrup all over. When we finish our breakfast I wash the dishes then we head out. Devin talked the whole way there. I don't even remember half the things he said but he said a lot.

"Condy, Condy, Condy." Kyree sing-songs my name.

"Ugh, not him."

"Who's that?" Devin whispers.

"Not important, just a person I really, really do not like."

"Good morning, Condy." He says all sweetly but I brush past him. "Why so in a rush?" I stand at the bus stop. "Standing alone again I see." Devin and I make confused faces at each other.

"What?"

"No one's with you like always. Are you surprised or something?" His crew laughs.

"I'm standing right here." Devin walks up to him but Kyree doesn't seem to notice. Devin sticks his hand straight through Kyree's chest.

"What the hell?" I quietly say.

"What is she talking about?" His crew laughs again.

"I forgot about that. So I'm kinda still transferring so no one can see me but you."

"What?" My jaw drops.

"What do you mean what? You were the one staring at us." Kyree turns his head to the side.

"For now though, they'll be able to see me soon." The bus comes and we get on.

"How soon is soon?" I whisper.

"I don't know."

"Good morning Condy."

"Good morning Ms.Jones."

"Make any new friends?" She says in a hopeful tone.

"Not exactly."

"Oh, well try try again." She smiles.

Devin didn't talk much after that. He just quietly followed me around. Finally it was the end of the day and I told my dad I'd walk home since I can't exactly open the door for someone who isn't there. We got near my house and my thoughts just barricaded.

What if I'm actually crazy? What if I did imagine Devin up because I was so desperate for friends? Everyone was right this whole time, I do have imaginary friends. Oh my God, I'm crazy.
