Disclaimer: Blah blah blah I only own Aubrey and Elizabeth.

Aubrey opened her green eyes to see people staring at her. To be exact there were four people staring at her, Caitlin, Cisco, Dr. Wells, who was now in a wheelchair, and a boy she didn't recognise. The boy had dark hair and chocolate brown eyes and, even Aubrey had to admit, he was hot. Aubrey blinked her eyes in confusion before the voices came.

"I thought she was dead. That reminds me, I need some nachos," Cisco said but his mouth never moved.

"Wait if Aubrey's alive, does that mean Ronnie is? No don't get your hopes up," Said Caitlin but her mouth never moved like Cisco. What the hell is going on?

"Interesting. It seems like Athena has arrived," Dr. Wells did the same thing but his made less sense. Who is Athena?

"Wait, this is Aubrey? She doesn't look very dead in fact she looks very alive and very good. Wait focus Barry," The boy, Barry he had said, said doing the same thing as the other three.

"What are you people talking about? And how are you talking without moving your lips? And you! Who is Athena?" Aubrey screamed with the last statement pointed to Dr. Wells. The strawberry blonde was known for her fiery temper after all and she was sick of them staring at her like some sort of circus act. As soon as the words came out of the scientist's mouth the other four stared at her in confusion.

"Aubrey," Caitlin started out slowly after glancing at Barry, Cisco and Dr. Wells, "No one said anything."

"No I heard you guys. You said something about Ronnie, Cisco said something about nachos, Barry, I'm pretty sure that's your name, over here said his name and said to focus and Dr. Wells said Athena has come or something," Aubrey argued leaving out Barry thinking she was hot.

"No one said anything like that. But I thought it," Cisco said the last part not moving his mouth. Suddenly Aubrey heard what sounded like a million voices and she screamed. It was like there was screaming in her head, like someone was hitting the inside of her head with a hammer, and it hurts. She broke down and pulled at her strawberry blonde hair as if trying to physically pull the voices out of her head. She was in so much pain she didn't see Barry and Cisco running forward, telling her to calm down and Caitlin stick a needle in her arm that knocked her out. The last thing she saw was Barry talking to Caitlin, wondering what happened to the girl, then everything went black again. This was really starting to get old.

-

Aubrey woke up again and immediately realised that the voices were gone. The girl sighed in relief before she heard someone behind her.

"Miss Blake seems like you've finally joined the land of the living," Dr. Wells said from behind her.

"Whats wrong with me?" Aubrey asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Wells moved his wheel chair right in front of the girl. "It seems, Miss Blake, that you have become a telepath," Dr. Wells said slowly.

"What?" Aubrey screamed, "That's impossible! I can't have a... power!"

"Not just one, Miss Blake, you also seem to have telekinesis," the dark haired man added.

"No! I can't! I'm just an ordinary scientists. Dr. Wells there must be some mistake," the girl responded, practically begging him to say he was joking. Her emotions must have been high because suddenly all the drawers opened and everything came out.

"Oops?" The scientist tried for a smile.

-

"So Aubrey's going to work with Dr. Wells and Barry to start to control her powers-" Caitlin started before Aubrey cut her fellow scientist off. The scientists were sitting in Star Labs talking about Aubrey's little problem.

"Why Barry? I mean I get Dr. Wells helping me but Barry's just an ordinary scientist, how can he help?" The strawberry blonde asked.

"Wait we didn't tell you yet? Oh this is good. Barry over here is the fastest man alive," Cisco stated with excitement. The boy clapped his hand on the forensic scientist's back while he talked.

"So he's a track star? How is a track star going to help me?" The telepath asked getting frustrated.

"What Cisco means is I have super speed," Barry responded before Cisco said something else. To prove his point he ran to Mexico and brought back a sombrero and some chips and salsa.

"Thank you very much," Cisco said taking the hat and the chips and salsa.

"As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted," Caitlin started again with a pointed glare in Aubrey's direction which made Aubrey sink in her seat. "Barry and Dr. Wells will help you control your .... abilities. I'm going to try and figure out the extent of your abilities and Cisco is going to-"

"Make your costume. I was thinking white maybe some gold or silver. Oh and I have to come up with a name for you," Cisco cut Caitlin off and made everyone groan when he said name.

"What does he mean name? I already have a name. And why would I need a costume?" Aubrey asked, confusion written in her face.

"He means he wants to give you a superhero alias. Like mine is the Flash. He also named the villains," Barry explained to the girl

"I was thinking maybe Miss Mind? Or maybe Professor X? Or Minerva? Maybe Athena?" Then the long haired boy walked to his workspace still rambling about names and costumes.

"Wait! You guys want me to be what? Barry's sidekick? No way! I just want to go back to my normal life and pretend I didn't miss ten months of my life!" The strawberry blonde screamed before storming out angrily.

The strawberry blonde didn't want to be a super hero. She just wanted to be a normal 22 year old who liked shopping and went to bars and hung out with her friends and didn't get involved in super hero stuff. Not after what happened last time she was involved. The strawberry blonde shook her head and went to the train station to buy a ticket to Star City. She had a certain group of friends she needed to see.

Once the telepath was on the train she took out her iPhone and texting 4 people that she needed to talk to them. Once finished with the text, Aubrey put away her phone and closed her eyes, dreaming of a normal life.

-

I know this chapter was bad but bear with me, I needed to set up the next chapter and give you a sort of feel for Aubrey and how she responded to the whole super hero thing. You'll understand why she was hesitant next chapter. And sorry this was late I've been preparing for school which starts tomorrow. Yay (notice the sarcasm). Anyway I'm probably going to update Scream next for anyone who wanted to know so look out for that.
