Dallas smacked his head down on the table repeatedly.
Grayson and I were currently doing our best Gandalf from Lord of the Rings impressions.
"This is torture." He moaned dramatically.
"Your just jealous." I countered, rolling my eyes in annoyance.
"Jealous of what? Letting the entire library know your total geeks with absolutely no life?" He snapped, his eyes's narrowed as he gave me a sharp glare. "No thanks. I'm fine knowing absolutely nothing about the Lord of the Necklace."
Grayson's eyes snapped up, giving Dallas a killer stare. I gasped softly.
"Rings." Grayson whispered, like he was trying to control his inner rage.
"It's Lord of the Rings." I added on, my voice hoarse from the strain of keeping myself from yelling.
"Whatever." Dallas muttered, the look in his eyes telling me he had now been fully convinced we were insane.

"Just let him come over." I demanded, refusing to back down. Dallas and I were currently eating lunch in the school cafeteria. I was about to take a bite out of my hamburger when I noticed Cole had just entered. His eyes were scanning the crowd; he hadn't noticed us yet.
"No. If he comes over here I'm leaving." His words were a glum mutter. I rolled my eyes in exasperation.
"Your not five anymore, Dallas. Grow up." I retorted, my eyes falling on a boy who was sitting a couple tables away. It was Grayson.
"What if Grayson comes over? Then we could all four eat lunch together." I suggested, putting forth a hopeful tone to my voice. Dallas turned, glancing quickly at Grayson and then back at me. He stared at me in thought for a little while before groaning quietly.
"Fine." He surrendered. I grinned, holding my hand up for a high five. He glared at my palm, completely leaving me hanging.
"Not cool." I grumbled, crossing my arms across my chest. The corners of his mouth curved upwards in a small smile before he stood to his feet.
"I'll go see if Grayson will join us." He said before walking away. I waited until he turned his back to me before I stood up waving Cole over. He apparently hadn't seen that I was with Dallas. I knew because a bitter scowl wasn't plastered across his face.
"What's up, beautiful?" He greeted once within earshot. I giggled happily as he pulled me in, kissing me softly on the cheek.
"It's going great, handsome. Wanna eat lunch with me?" I asked, conveniently leaving out the part Dallas would be joining us.
"My pleasure." He replied, sitting down across from me. It was only a couple seconds before movement from Grayson's table caught my attention. Grayson was standing to his feet, following Dallas who was making his way back to us. Cole noticed he was not receiving my attention and turned to see what was, his gaze falling on Dallas.
"You've got to be kidding me." Cole grumbled, running his hand through his hair. I had observed he did that whenever something was happening that angered him or made him uncomfortable. I'm guessing this scenario more than likely angered him. "Doesn't he get the idea that we just want to be alone?"
"Actually, I invited him to eat with me too." I remarked shortly, suddenly feeling defensive for Dallas.
"You've been constantly hanging out with him, Sadie. I'm the one your dating." The jealously and ignorance to his words were almost overbearing.
