•Kenleey's P.O.V•
~Five Hours later~
I look at Nellie's face who was just in panic still after that close encounter of death. The radio didn't work anymore so we sat in silence. I glanced at Nellie every so often to make sure she was okay. Her pretty blue eyes were gray and the last time I saw them gray was when she lost her best friend from cancer so I knew who she has saw back there, one of her hands were free so I grab it and squeeze telling her it's okay and she calms down a little.
"I think we need to stop for gas soon there's a gas station just ahead"she says a little shaking in the voice.
"Okay"I say in a calm voice as we sit in silence one again before we pull in on a abandoned gas station with the others doing the same.
"Everyone get a full tank and look for food and water and quickly we done have long until the sun is up"I say making everyone nod their head and go their separate ways but Nellie who was filling up her tank. I admire for a little before she caught me staring and I looked away blushing.

•Nellie's P.O.V•
Was Kenleey just staring at me, what the fuck. Is he blushing now. Well then maybe I'm just imagining it. Yeah totally.
By the time I finish filling up mine and Ashley's tank everyone was ready to go and the sun was half way up. I was thankful this stop was peaceful but I knew that wouldn't last long. I was the last to go into my car. I try the radio again and got nothing so I crank the car and started driving.
    This time in the car with me was still Kenleey, then we have Ashley and savannah. I look the the mirror and see Ashley staring at kenleey making me anxious. She gets every boy she wants so I wouldn't be surprised if she dates Kenleey, but I want him to be mine

•4 hours later•

It was mid day and we decided to stop at this old looking house in the middle of no where which was strange but we needed to rest.
I walked in with caution as Ashley and savannah were both telling me to hurry up and this of course annoyed me.
"Hurry the hell up ain't nobody here" Ashley said
"Shut the hell up before I make you"I whisper yell making everyone stare at me in awe. I have never got tempter with anyone.
I hear groans from the living room so I get my machete out clinging on it for dear live when I look around the corner into the living room and see it siting down. It's paleish greenish skin told me it was one of those things. Slowly approaching it I raise my machete once I was close enough my blade goes into its head making it flop over onto the couch.
"Damn" I hear Caitlyn as we continue to search the place only find a few things. Who ever was here left in a hurry and I could see why. I watch as everyone goes around the house for things and I just stay and sat down moving the dead man without gagging from the smell. I sigh as I look forward hiding my face in my hands as a tear rolls down my face.
    "Nellie"I hear a voice behind me making me quickly wipe the tear away and turning around to face kenleey.
    "Y-yeah"I say smiling
    "We're sharing a room if you don't mind"he says a little shy
    "I don't mind" I say
    "It's the 4th room on the left"he says pointing down the hall as he makes his way down there.
I face forward as I sigh realizing this was how it was now. This was like the walking dead or z nation, something I wanted to happen. Well I got what I wanted.
