I slowly opened my eyes and took in the scent of the beach air. It was our last week in Hawaii and Cameron and I had planned to spend every minute of it surfing. I rolled over to a still sleeping cam and wrapped my arms around him. "Wake up baby. " I whispered in his ear. His eyes suddenly fluttered open and he smiled. "Good morning beautiful. " he said pulling a strand of hair away from my face. "Guess what time it is?" I asked as he laid his arm out suggesting I lay next to him. "What? Surf time?" He asked groggily. "Yes!" I nearly shouted, "the waves are perfect at this time we gotta catch em!" "You know you are so cute. " Cameron acknowledged and kissed me. "Let's go let's go!" I said hopping up off the bed. "Now wait a minute there miss." He said grabbing my waist and pulling me on top of him. "What?" I asked. "You gotta kiss me first. " he said. I leaned in and kissed him, sending butterflies into my stomach. "Oh and you're cute too. " I whispered and jumped off of him. Going over to the closet I pulled off cam's t shirt I wore to bed and put on my black bikini. I peeked over my shoulder to see Cameron laying on the bed watching me as I undress and pull on my swimsuit. He never failed to give me butterflies, even after three years. I grabbed my rip curl wetsuit and threw it into my bag, along with my sunscreen and towel. Suddenly I felt Cameron's soft hands wrap around my waist. "You know I love you?" He whispered against my neck. My knees went weak as I turned to face him, "you know I love you more?" "And I love you most. " he finished sweetly before planting a kiss on my lips. He pulled away and I ran my hands through his hair. We had been away from eachother for so long before we came to Hawaii, with cam on his tour and me on my third season of dancing with the stars. We needed this trip so badly, and it has already helped us so much as a couple. "Okay I'm gonna go make breakfast. You get ready and make the bed please?" I suggested. "Okay mom. " he whined. "Hey!" I teased playfully hitting his arm. "You'd make one hot momma!" He said slapping my bum as I headed out of the room.
I went into the kitchen and made avocado toast and smoothies for the two of us. Since cam was still getting stuff together, I quickly packed lunch as well since I knew we would be out there all day.
"Mm it smells good. " Cameron announced as he walked in. "Thanks cam, here ya go. " I say handing him his plate. "Thank you gorgeous. " he complimented. "You're so sweet cam." I thanked him planting a kiss on his cheek.
We finished breakfast and packed our bags and boards into the jeep. We had rented a beach house on a secluded beach, so we were the only ones there. We drove a bit further down the beach and set up camp.
"The waves look good today. " Cameron pointed out as we slipped on our wetsuits. "They knew we were coming. " I joked. When I had my wetsuit all on Cameron was only half way. I grabbed my board and ran to the water. "I'm gonna get all the good ones if you don't hurry!" I yelled behind me. "Wait up!" He yelled pulling his arms through and grabbing his board. We paddled out until I found the perfect wave. Unfortunately I didn't catch it right and flipped under my surf board. "Haha sucker!" Cameron yelled from in front of me. At least someone caught it. The next one was all mine, so I paddled out further and caught it in just the right time. I have never been happier than right now, with the love of my life and the perfect wave... I could stay here forever. "That was a good one!" Cameron yelled. "Better than yours?" I teased. "Nah I don't think so. " he added laughing. I paddled closer and splashed him. Cameron pulled me off my board and into the water with him. "Hey not coo-" I retorted, but he stopped me with a kiss. Pulling away I licked my lips, tasting the sea salt and Cameron's lips. He looked me in the eyes and traced the outline of my lips. "You're so beautiful. " "Cameron. Thank you. You are so good to me. " I acknowledged. "Madison you know that this is what you deserve? To be treated like the princess you are? You did not deserve those other douches that treated you like crap. " he explained. I wrapped my legs around him torso and kissed him. I let my lips tell him how much I appreciated him and how good he treats me. "I love you so much Cameron." "I love you too." He replied with a smile.
We grabbed our boards and went ashore for lunch. "You know mads that's such a cute little swimsuit. " he said mid chew. "Aw thanks. It's not one of my favorites. " I explained. "Then take it off. " he suggested. "What?" I asked before he climbed on top of me and kissed me. "You heard me. " he whispered against my neck. "Mm. " I moaned. We made out on the beach until the sun began to set. "Oh shit babe we gotta go. " Cameron blurted. "Wait why?" I asked confused. "We have dinner reservations." He said grabbing the bags and my hand. God do I have the best boyfriend in the world.
