"So now that we have a price range, what is on your wish list?" Our realtor, Chris asked. Before I could say anything Cameron yells, "pool!" "Haha okay, we can look for that. And what about you Madison?" Chris asked. "Hmm I honestly would love like a studio apartment. I'm hoping for a complex with a gym and a pool for cam." I explain winking at Cameron. "Okay that sounds great! We will head to our first house now, and we will work out way to the apartments!" He explains getting up and motioning for us to follow him. Chris gave us the directions to the first house and we hopped in our car to meet him there.
Cameron started the car, pulled out of the lot, and took my hand. "I cannot believe we are buying out first house together." He smiled. "Me either. I'm so excited. " I exhaled. He bit his lip and looked over at me when we hit a stoplight. "You know this is the first thing we are purchasing as a couple?" He asked. "Yes, it's already here babe, we have waited so long for this day and worked so hard. " I replied. "God I just love you Madison. " I felt my heart flutter as he moved his hand from my hand and onto my thigh. "Aw cam! I love you more!" "Well guess what?" He inquired. "Hmm?" I asked already knowing the answer. "I love you most." He yelled. "Cam. " I teased. "China can hear you. " "well good I want everyone to know. " and with that he rolled down his window and stuck his head out yelling, "I am in love with Madison!" He turned back to look at me, blushing and grinning like a dork. "I love you too. Now eyes on the road!" I demanded kissing him on the cheek.
We pulled up to the first house on the outskirts of Beverly Hills. It was a fairly big house with a huge garage and all white exterior. "You ready?" Cam asked taking my hand. I smiled, "let's do this. " We met Chris up at the front door and he gave us the price and history of the house. Then finally, he unlocked the door and led us inside. It had marble floors and a huge grand staircase to the upstairs. "Oh my god. " I exclaimed. Cameron looked down at me and smiled. We made our way to the kitchen, which was all marble except for the floors which had changed to black and white tile. The open floor plan made the house flow so nicely and you could see the living room right from the kitchen. Which was our next stop. One whole wall of the living room was glass windows and Cameron instantly ran to it. "Is that a pool?" He asked. "That is indeed a pool. " Chris responded. "Madison!!! There's a pool!" He started yelling like a five year old. "I see that. " I teased and followed him towards the window. Cam wrapped his arm around my waist and turned me around to look at the living room. "Imagine you, me, and jaxx and snuggled up on the couch on a Sunday night, eating cookie dough ice cream and watching a movie. " "awe cam I can see it. " I agreed laying my head on his shoulder. He kissed the top of my head and took my hand as Chris led us into the office. We then preceded to the last room on the main floor, which we decided could be our workout room. I had fallen in love with the house already, I just hoped the upstairs would be just as good. Chris led us into the master bedroom which again was all white walls and marble floors and had so much space. The bathroom topped it all, it had a huge black tile shower with glass all around it, two sinks and all the amenities...but when you opened the French doors on the left it opened into a glam room. Adorned with mirrors with lights around it and shelves for all your makeup. If nothing else I just wanted this room. Cameron knew this would be the selling point for me. "What do you think?" Cameron whispered. I bit my lip and answered, "I love it!"
We finished with the first house and headed to the second. The second was closer to downtown LA, and had not only a pool but full size basketball court. After showing us through the house, chris got a phone call from the owners and somehow Cameron and I found our way to the basketball court. "If I make this shot, you have to kiss me. " Cameron wagers. I crossed my arms and picked up a ball off the rack, "okay I give you three tries." Cameron took the ball and stood at the three point line. First try, he didn't make it in. Second try, again he missed. "Looks like someone's not getting any kisses. " I teased. "Hmm we will see about that, I've got one more try." He began. And with that, he made it...right into the hoop. He ran over to me, picked me up and gave me a big kiss.
"Alright lovebirds, sorry about that but let's get headed onto the next one...it's an apartment. " Chris said. I instantly pulled away from Cameron and ran to the car. "Wohoo an apartment!" I began chanting. "You turd, wait for me. " Cameron yelled running to to the car and hopping into the drivers seat.
The apartment was right in downtown LA, where all of Cameron's meetings where and right by DWTS studios. The complex had a huge pool and gym. A+ in my book so far. Chris lead us through the lobby and explained how everything worked. My feet began to hurt from the heels I had been walking through houses all day and Cameron must have noticed. "Are you okay babe?" He asked looking down at me. "Yea my feet just hurt a bit, I'm alright. " I replied. "Come here." He suggested leaning down. I got on his back and swung my legs around his torso, and my arms around his neck. "You're the best you know that?" I asked while kissing Cameron's cheek. "I know. " he teased and carried me to the elevator. We stepped into the spacious apartment, with all white walls and open set up. The second you walk in you see the kitchen and living room and one extra room which we decided would be an office. Then we made our way upstairs to the gorgeous master bedroom and another glam room which of course I fell in love with. There was one more room, which could be a guest room. On our way back downstairs, I whispered to cam..."I really love this one. " "I do too honey. " he agreed smiling.
"So these are all the houses you've seen today...now you don't have to make a choice right now but it's smart to eliminate one you know you both don't like." Chris suggested, pulling out pictures of each of the houses we visited and setting them on the table. Cameron put his hand on my leg and looked at me. "Let's eliminate the second one?" He asked me. "Yea I agree. " I added, as Chris took away the picture. We both sat there looking at the pictures. Both had really good qualities, but I'm the end...the apartment was closer to both our jobs,
It was by all our friends and favorite restaurants. We both loved the apartment. And it even had a pool. "I think we know which one we want. " Cameron began, breaking the silence. Chris smiled knowing which we would pick. "The apartment." We both said in synch and began laughing. "Awesome! I will call the owner and let you know when you can move in!" He said happily and headed out. "Cam!!!" I exclaimed as he pulled me into his arms. "Did we just buy our first house?" He asked. "Oh my gosh yes! We did it!" I shouted. "Baby I'm so excited! Look at this, you, me, jaxx, all living here. I get to wake up and see the most beautiful girl laying beside me. " Cameron imagined. "Awe cam. I can't believe I get to come home to my two favorite people in the whole world...everyday. " I exhaled. Cameron wrapped his hands around my waist and planted a kiss on my lips. It would be just a matter of time and this place would be our home.
