The two headed rat
Is cleverest of all.
He knows the secret paths,
In every single wall.

The other rats bite,
And spit and make a mess,
But he is very slight,
And leaves no trail, and less.

The two headed rat,
Can see what others miss.
He sees stars wink,
And little louses kiss.

The two headed rat,
Is quite the little thief,
The things he takes away,
Can bring all kinds of grief.

He can steal your tongue,
Or take your peeping eyes,
He can take an infant's voice
To silence when it cries.

In this very instant,
He may be listening in,
Just be thankful you don't see
his long-toothed greedy grin.
