With all the materials gathered, I'm back in Crossnight forest in the place where I have always seen Reyna. I sit down in the centre of the opening and place all the ingredients around me. I brought a knife in case the Reaper attacked but I know that it would be no use.

I dig a small hole in front of me to combine all the ingredients. I considered waiting for Lucan to find me and do the summoning then but I know it will take time for him to come. I already wasted a lot of time by running back home and coming back here. Finding my way back home took a while as it was and I already know Melissa has contacted the others or she is around looking for me right now.

I sigh and open the chest. I pull out the mandrake root and place it in the hole I made. The mandrake root is small and fits perfectly in the small hole. I grab the eucalyptus flowers I gathered a few minutes ago and place them on top of the mandrake. I then grab the rosemary and rip some parts to place them in the hole. I can smell the strong scent of Eucalyptus and rosemary. It's strong and unbearable. I look at my phone to check the last ingredient and it is my blood.

I reluctantly take the knife and place the blade on my palm. I feel my heart racing at the reminder of the knife in my dream. The last time a blade sliced me was when someone forced my death, so I'd become this person I am now. I didn't want to slide the knife, scared of the pain to come.

"Don't you trust me?" Reyna speaks. I look up and see her standing in front of me.

"Of course, I do."

"Then why are you summoning a Reaper?"

I look down at the ingredients I gathered and the blade in my hand. "I just have to hear it from someone else."

"So, you decided to hear it from a Reaper?" she did not sound happy.

"They don't lie and they should know."

Reyna forcefully laughs, "Reapers are deadly, ruthless creatures. They're not be trusted to be with alone." Reyna's eye narrows.

"They say the same thing about you too," I murmur.

Reyna looks away. "You can't trust anyone at a time like this," she whispers.

"I need the others to believe me. The only way I can get them to believe me is to get a Reaper to tell me. They can't lie and they're the only ones that the others would listen to," I add. Reyna snaps her head towards me, rage in her eyes.

"I warned you, not the others," she roars.

"I can't do this on my own."

I hear her growl, "I do not trust them. They do not care about any of us," she says as though she was a complete different species.

"They are the only ones who can help me," I almost beg.

She sighs, "You don't have the name of a Reaper for it to work," Reyna points out.

She is referring to my summoning. I look back down at my phone and realise I don't have a name. Reapers have individual names and I do not even have a name to summon. The plan was ruined. I ran away from Melissa for no reason. I went this far for nothing.

"Do you know anyone?" I ask with hope.

"No." But her expression says otherwise.

"Reyna please. I need to hear it from a Reaper. I need to know what they know. I can't rely on a vision," I admit.

"My vision should be enough," she says through clenched teeth.

She feels betrayed. I can see it in her eyes. "Reyna, please. I want to stop the war as much as you do and I need to get as much information as possible. Whatever a Reaper knows may be enough to find out who is doing all of this," I reason.
