It's Not Over (Sequel To The Wrong Path)

Meeting New Friends

      I woke up in a strange white room and I knew straight away that I'm in W.I.C.K.E.D's laboratory. I looked around the room to see if there was anyway out of this room. I moved the bed over and found out there was a hidden vent in the corner. I took the bedsheet and I wrapped it around the small slit that let the air through. I pulled as hard as I can and kept on doing so, until it popped right off hitting my stomach. I pushed the pain aside and I went into the vent, but before I went any further I pulled the bed where it was hiding the vent once again. I was crawling through as quietly as I can until I bumped my head against the end of the vent. I flipped around and kicked the vent door open, and that sure made a loud echoey sound.

I crawled out quickly but quietly until I was fully out and I just ran. I had no idea where I was going but I made sure to check behind me to make sure no one was following me. Once I turned my head back to check again I ran into some girl that had a gun. I immediately put my hands up in surrender and waited for her to put me back into a room. She just stood there holding back her laughter and helped me up. I was so confused at this point, but I didn't even questioned it because she seemed to be helping me. She put on a serious face again and just told me to follow her which I gladly did. She checked the halls and we just ran right through. At this point I am wondering where all the guards were because the halls are completely empty. Once we reached our destination, I'm guessing, I was happy to see some of my friends already there which was only Luke, Aris, Gracey, and Jenny. There were also three other guys and of course the girl that I bumped into a minute ago. I walked over to my friends and asked if everyone was alright in such.

"Hey there Luke it looks like you've been getting better." I said laughing a bit remembering that I had to carry his dumb body half way through the desert. He gave me a confused look, and I just shook my head to tell him just to forget it which he did.

"Does anybody know who these people are? I mean you guys have been here way longer than I have, so you must know something." I asked my friends.

"That's Zac, the guy to the right of him is Nixon, and the guy next to Nixon is Ashton. I'm not entirely to sure but I think the girl next to Zac is Ava. The guys were saying we had to wait for her in order to leave." Luke explained pointing at each one he was talking about. "They are all helping us get out of this dumb place. We are finally going to the free world but we did lose two friends of ours, Graham, and some other guy who were with us before." He went back and sat on the floor once again just staring at the floor.

     I did't want to ask Luke what was wrong because I wasn't sure if he was thinking of the good or the bad. I went over to talk to that Zac guy because he seemed like he was in charge but then again he might not be. Zac excused himself from his group and came over to me. Which I guess he already figured I wanted to talk to someone for answers.

"Luke told you about the deaths, I'm guessing?" Zac asked.

"Yes, and I would like to know who those exact people were?" I asked.

"Well one guy was named Nic, the other was a guy named Jasper, one was named Graham, and the youngest one was a boy named Tony." He said already going back to his group of friends not even looking back. I went back with my friends and they were all just quiet.

     "I can understand the whole sadness from the death, but we all went through that so many times. We have to learn that they are in a happier place now, and that they would want us to keep going and survive." I told them all. They all looked at me and then went back to either looking out in the distance or closing their eyes.

     It took us a couple of hours till Zac announced that all of the guards left and no one is here anymore. I am guessing we were in a old room that no one really checks up on. Zac and Ashton led us all to the exit while Ava and Nixon walked behind us making sure everyone was still together. We finally made it out but where are we going to head now. Ava ran up and tossed something, that looked like a key, to Ashton. We stopped where we were while Ashton ran over to the side of the building. We waited till Ashton came out with this jeep while another jeep, with fricken Peyton in it, followed behind him

"Hey I know some of you guys hate her, but she had a some spare keys. We all couldn't have fit in this one little jeep. So, just don't fight till we get to where we are going. Ava and Zac you go with Seth and Luke to the other car. The rest of you come with me." Ashton instructed us.

     Here is how all of us sat in the car that I was in. Zac was driving, Peyton was in the passenger seat. In the back was me with Luke in the middle, and Ava next to him. During our ride everyone was talking, but most of the time it was just Zac and Peyton. From time to time Luke and Ava would talk about random stuff. For me I just wanted to get some sleep so I just drifted into darkness where I blocked out all the sounds.
