RACHEL POV
"Location ABI. That's where we're going?" Teresa asks.
"Correct, tomorrow morning we will escort you to the flat trans and you will be reunited with your friends. I must warn you though unsurprisingly they will be very startled to see you. It would be best to notify people with... lesser relationships with you so they can warn people that are close to you." She warns.
Finally, I can get out of this building and see those sticks again. Excitement pulses through my body as I think about my reunion with Sonya and Harriet. I almost smile as I try to imagine the look on Aris's face. But my excitement dissipates when I think about what location ABI is actually like. Ava didn't give any indication of what this place was like. It could be another maze for all I know.
I'm so lost in thought that I don't even realise Ava leaving the room, until Teresa tugs my arm. I jerk my head upwards to see an amused expression on her face.
"I can practically see all the thoughts running through your head." She says, a small smile playing on her lips.
"Sorry." I laugh lightly.
I stand up and walk towards the door only to see Newt waiting for us by the doorframe.
"So, did you shanks process any of that information?" The all too familiar boy asks.
"Shank?" I ask. What does that even mean?
"Glader slang." He replies.
"Glader?" I frown in confusion. What's with the whole different language?
The boy looks amused at my obvious confusion but decides not to elaborate on the subject any further.
"Newt." He says sticking out his hand.
"Rachel." I reply giving it a slight shake.
"What do you guys say to getting some food?" Teresa asks, glancing at the dining hall merely visible down the corridor.
"I'm in." I reply maybe a bit too eager.
"Okay." Newt says.
The three of us walk down the hallway and for a few seconds I pretend that we weren't just given life-changing news.

Hey Guys! It's been too long I know and I've written most of the story already so it's just a matter of editing and tweaking. I really promise I'll update more but I won't make too many empty promises like some authors do.
School is just so annoying.
