A Fairy Tail Fanfic

Lucy P.O.V

I sat stroking Natsu's salmon hair. He just stared ahead and didn't say a word. He probably doesn't know that I have forgiven him. Its just not possible to stay angry at Natsu especially when he gives me his infamous grin.

"Natsu. What's wrong?" I asked nervously. I had never seen him like this. He was usually bustling with energy and he wouldve been looking for a way out now, but he was silent, unmoving.

"I couldn't save you..." Natsu murmured.

I was quiet for a while as his words registered into my mind. He cared about me...he rlly did...I was wrong to judge him.

"Natsu it isn't your fault. You couldn't have done anything. Plus I'm not dead...yet" I replied.

"You won't die!!!!! I will make sure of that" he jumped up and stared at me with his onyx eyes. "Both of u." He said to yukino and I. Then he started looking for a way out.

"Well at least he's back to normal" I giggled .

"What was that Luce?" he said looking at me.

"Oh nothing" I said blushing.

Yukino noticed and she walked over to me.

"You guys like each other?" she asked, smiling.

"What??? Uh...umm...noooo!!! O-of-of course not!!!" I stuttered blushing once again.

"Aww don't lie to me!!!" Yukino laughed rolling on the floor.

"What are you girls talking about?" Natsu questioned as he sat down next to me

I shot yukino a glare which shut her up and said, blushing for the billionth time "oh nothing really"

"Luce? Why is your cheek all red? You look like a tomato!" Natsu exclaimed.

Wow this dense idiot doesn't know that I'm blushing. Suddenly he reached out and touched my cheek.

"Here I'll turn then back to normal" natsu said , poking my cheeks.

"He liiiikeeesss you" Happy called out. I thought that stupid cat was sleeping???!!!!

"Shut it cat cuz you're about to get hurt!" I said angrily.

Yukino couldn't stop her laughter anymore as she burst out laughing. Then Natsu started laughing all of a sudden and Happy followed. I just sat between them sulking and wondering why am I surrounded by idiots???

Hey guys! I know I haven't been putting much of Nalu moments but here we go! I say they make the best couple, even tho Lucy is soooo shippable. Anyways! Hope you guys liked this chapter!!! See ya later minna! :)
