The way to school was horrible. The road is usually smooth but Cara here manages to drive over every bump in the city. I turned to her, annoyingly with a facial expression screaming I was in pain, "You know you're a terrible driver?" Her neck snapped when she heard those words. Smiling she exclaimed, "Well, you wouldn't say that to someone, who brought you safe and sound in hell, now would you", winking she opened the door and got out of the car. "Whatever", I said as I was checking my phone, "we are still late, you know I love math." Hurrying, I heard the tall girl scoff. "Oh please, Hailee, if it wasn't for your boyf-"
"Who's boyfriend?" a male voice interrupted.
And there he was... the love of my life. Six feet of love and compassion. We haven't been together for long but it feels like decades that have been spent romantically. I couldn't stop looking at his leather jacket. It's as if I've laid eyes on him for the first time of my life.
"Hailee..."
His hair was as soft as a bear, it smelled like roses every day. His eyes blue as the ocean collided with the sky. His hand fit in mine like it belonged there.
"Hails!"
I could go all day about his personality. Charming, fun, caring, loving. And his cologne could hypnotize any girl. He's just perfect.
"HAIZ!"
"Huh?"
"Did you hear anything I just told you?"
Scratching the back of my neck I admitted, "Um... no?" How long was I admiring Asa? "Ugh okay, I'll text you later, bitch. I'll leave you two love birds, you know how pissy Mrs. Dwight gets when I'm late and not in my P.E. uniform" she laughed and started to walk away, "Oh and hey, Ace, take care of Hailee, would ya?" she stuck her tongue out and entered the building.
Yelling out, he said, "please infer to me when I have not taken care of my princess" he turned around to her and continued in a soft voice, "how could someone mistreat something so beautiful." Flattered, she hugged him and they both entered their class.
