The school hallways weren't as familiar. It's like a maze with no exit. Traps and obstacles all around and I mean it, jocks, mean girls, perverts. It creeps me out.
"Asa...?" I whisper loudly, "babe where are you, I'm gonna get los-" An arm grabbed me by my waist and pulled me towards the boys bathroom. A hand over mouth to muffle my screams... Was I the prey again? "Shh, baby. It's okay." The familiar voice calmed me down. "ASA FUCKING BUTTERFIELD," I escape from his hands and turn around, "WHAT WERE YOU FUCKING THINKIN-" he shut me up with a kiss. His soft, pink lips, pursing on mine. I got goose bumps. He pulled away, "babe, we are not going in Satan's lounge." I look at him puzzled and also still in euphoria, "what do you mean," I blink, "we have to show up at the office!"
"Do we really have to? Listen we could just go out grab a bite somewhere and forget about it."
"That's absurd", I scoff and cross my arms. "You know snitchy bitchy little Chloe will notice and open her big ass mouth." He throws his hands up and looks to the ceiling, "so what?" He stares deep into my eyes, "I always get out of shit easily." He leans on the wall with a cheeky smirk on his cute face. "Yeah, but I don't." I say, exhausted and realizing it's already too late to go in the office and/or back to class.
"Hailee, do you trust me?"
I hate when he uses my full name. That's how you know he's serious. "How could you even ask me that? Of course I do!" He kisses my hand and led the way. We get out of the bathroom and he looks around, more suspiciously than ever. I wonder what his great mind is thinking right now. "Run." I hear him whisper as he pulls the fire alarm. Startled by everything, he pulls me towards the main entrance. "OH MY GOD WHAT DID YOU DO?"
"I got you, babe, it's all fine." We run to his motorcycle and he turns the engine. "WAIT, we forgot our bags inside!"
"Fuck them." I hop on his bike and we're off.
