"Hailee! Breakfast time!" - my mom shouted her lungs out. Yeah, my sleep schedule is off and I'm a deep sleeper. I slept through an earthquake, that wasn't fun, all my posters fell.

"Be there in a minute!" - I screamed back as I was putting the pillow over my head. I have so many things in my mind, I'm not ready for the world today. I hear some heavy footsteps approaching my door so I pretend to get up only to fall in bed again. It's a Sunday, Hailee, get it together. The door swings open. Griffin with his big smile says, "dude, get up, mom served your favorite." I shot up, hoping it's cereal. I push him away from the door frame and run downstairs. "Ouch, you just elbowed me!" - exclaimed Griffin. Almost tripping over my own two feet I get to the table and see something god given. Lucky charms. Ah, I'm charming and lucky. "There she is! Our favorite daughter in the world, NO! In the universe!" Sounds kind of familiar. My dad gives me a kiss on the forehead and sits across from me. "So how's school, sweetie?"

"Oh, it's fine, chemistry is a buzzkill but I love math."

"Ha, since when do you like math?" - my brother asks as he was sitting next to me. "For your information, I've always loved math, i just never knew."

"Right, as much as I love your little friend group."

"Hey! They're nice, what are you implying?" - I look at him with a puzzled look. "Yeah especially that blonde girl."

"Cara?" - i raise my eyebrow. "No, but it started with a C. Oh I think her name was Chloe or something." Huh. Why would he bring her up like this. Ironic. "Yeah, she's not my friend and speaking of, are you guys close?" I see his palms getting sweaty. He's rocking his chair. "Griff?"

"Hm? Oh, no I just see her at the lobby of your school sometimes." He never comes to my school. He doesn't even drive past it. "I totally believed you." He clenches up his fists and kicks his chair back and riots back to the garage angrily. Both my parents look at me with sorrow. My mom reaches to my cheek and caresses it, "oh, honey, you're too young to be even thinking about it." Think about what?! "Your brother will be fine."

"I-I don't get w-what you're saying." She looks at me confused and looks at my dad and then looks back. "He never told you?"

"Tell me what?" My mom reaches out and holds my hand. "He doesn't want her to have the baby."
