Chapter 21 - Friend's familiers.

(Melvin's p.o.v)

It was about Ra knows what time in the morning and I'm being woken up by my stupid tentacle monster. It was attacking me and throwing everyone all over the place. Thought it was quite funny to watch Ezio get pinned to the roof by his mattress. However back to the interesting part because you guys want to know why he was attacking me, right? Yes I'm talking to you, silly reader!!

Well, tentacle monster put me down after I gave him a stick eye, but then I looked in the mirror. It was horrifying. I was going to throw up. Instead of seeing my normal sexy blonde hair and sexy 20 year old body, all I can see is a cute animal looking back at me....I took it very well.

(Ezio's p.o.v)

I woke up with a bit of a shock, however this didn't surprise me anymore. At least the whole being stuck to the roof by my mattress was new. As I slowly gained back my senses, the usually swearing filled room was filled with the sound of an animal squawking, constantly squawking. I couldn't see what it was until my mattress fell down from underneath me. I readied myself to face Melvin's punch as I land on his bed but it never came. I look up and blink.

All I could see was that jerk's pet holding a mirror with an adorable yellow penguin attacking another mirror...well, it was more slapping the mirror, since it was a baby penguin in a blind cute rage. How did the penguin get in here?

Dear meatballs, has Melvin started animal trafficking?

(Kai's p.o.v)

I awoke to find a penguin slapping itself in the mirror. Why is this the only surprising thing to happen since we came to this world?

I pulled out my phone, sitting up a bit as Ezio started ranting about wanting a cut of something.

"Hello Mephisto. It's Kai. Before you ask, that isn't Melvin killing Ezio with a rubber chicken."

"Dear me, Nephew, with that sound in the back ground and you calling me, something must be wrong. How am I able to help?" Mephisto sounds a little confused.

"Well, what you're hearing is a baby penguin hitting its reflection in the mirror. Melvin is missing and I'm wondering if you could help figure out what's going on." the whole time I was talking to Mephisto, this penguin would not shut up. It was like the penguin was insane or something.

"Nephew, what colour is this penguin?"

"Blond with two green stri-" I face palmed and groaned. Mephisto chuckled on the other end. "Fuck all kinds of ducks. Melvin can become a baby penguin."

"From the sounds of things he's confused and unable to speak human. I'll be over in a little bit with a translator for him. Just keep him in the bed room, alright?"

"Oh yeah, no, that won't be hard. Keep an insane baby penguin with the powers of the shadow realm in a tiny bed room." Mephisto hung up after laughing. "Why am I being tested like this?"

It was two hours later that Mephisto turned up. Melvin in his rage has broken the first mirror, slapped Ezio for holding a fish out to him, Kicked Dmitri out the window and started beating the second mirror his 'loving' pet held out. He was currently in the middle of a rather long squawk.
