I sighed getting up and turned the music off before wiping off sweat. I grabbed my water bottle and took a big gulp.

I huffed catching my breath and stepped back a little feeling a little dizzy. I ignored the slight headache and left the room to take a shower since I felt sticky. I took an asprin and my headache felt a little better. Walking around I realized nobody was here but me and Kay-Kay.

Chandra took Noonie and Chay to there doctor's appointments. August was just gone, probably with his brother Travis.

After taking a long needed shower, I went to go check up on Kay. I looked inside her room and seen that she was fighting her sleep while watching TV.

"You must be tired huh?"

She looked at me and smiled weakly. "Yeah." she yawned.

"Go ahead and take a nap Kay." I smiled and caressed her hair.

She closed her eyes liking the feeling and eventually fell asleep.

I walked in my room and stripped all the way feeling hot, but instantly got under the covers feeling my goosebumps.

I knew I was very tired because within thirty seconds I was knocked out.

"Amari. Amari. Amari!" I was shook violently and I jumped up breathing hard

I snatched away from August and frowned

"Shit. I need to take a shower." I mumbled wiping sweat off of me.

"You okay?"

Hearing the concern in his voice I turned around seeing a worried face.

I nodded "Im fine." I mumbled knowing im not.

"You need to go tot he doctor Amari."

"No August. I just need to take a shower." I stood up and walked away from him hearing him sigh in frustration.

I. Walked in the bathroom and shut the door before walking towards the full mirror. Still in my panties and bra, I reached my hand to my stomach.

My lip began to tremble before I just sucked it in. I didnt feel like crying. I was tired of crying. This was the worse mistake that I've ever done.

Lord please let it be just stress.

I can't be pregnant.

I turned around and turned the shower on all the way to cold. I got in and even wet my hair i just stood there with my head down eyes closed, and started thinking...

Walking back inside the house I took my hoodie off and put it on the hook.

"August?" Chandra questioned

I jumped a little and sighed.

"Whatchu' still doin up Cha?"

"I came down here to get some water, then yo lanky ass come strollin in at three o 'clock in the morning." she crossed her arms. "Where was you at?"

I waved her off "Im goin to bed Cha."

"You bet not have been doing anything you aint got no business doin August. You lucky it was me who caught you and not Amari." she scolded following me.

I turned around making her stop "Aight man I get it. Im goin to sleep now."

She squinted her eyes "You have bags under your eyes. Are you okay?" she asked with now concern.

I looked to the side then back at her "Yeah."

She crossed her arms "I know your not cheating. I can tell. So tell me before I call Mama Sheila in the morning."

I squinted my eyes "You fuckin wouldn't?"

"Yes the fuck I would." she said putting her weight on her left leg.

"I'll tell her how you broke her vase." I crossed my arms.

Her eyes widened for a second before she squinted her eyes back at me.

"Okay August Anthony. Two can play, I see how it is." she nodded before walking off.

I chuckled lowly and walked right behind her.

"Stay in ya business Cha."

"I'll find out Aug. I always will." she said before walking down the hall.

I looked where she walked off at and shook my head "She somethin' else." I mumbled.
