Johanna couldn't breath.
It felt like the oxygen had been sucked out of the air.
Looking at her boss dead on the ceiling his eyes gouged out and body ripped up is, to say the least, horrifying.
She hears another whoosh and she whips around, terrified that she's going to be the next victim.
She wished she was tougher than this. She wished that she didn't fear death when she was faced with it, but every time she still feels a twinge of fear every time.
Suddenly, she hears Mr. Alabaster take a huge breath of air and a few more drops of blood fall on her head.
"Oh my god," she gasps backing up so quickly she runs into the desk.
"No," Mr. Alabaster rasps. "Please. Please stop. I'm good as dead anyways please. Please. Don't hurt my daughter."
"Sir it's me Johanna," she says trying to keep her voice steady.
"Johanna?" He asks his voice sounding fearful. "Johanna listen to me get out of here"
"Sir I can help you."
"I said get out or he'll get you too," his voice quavers.
"He?" She asks.
Mr. Alabaster groans and a new wound starts forming on his stomach. Whatever's pushing into him seems like it's trying to make his innards outards.
Suddenly words start to form on the wall in blood.
I warned you Johanna.
Her breathing quickens and the walls feel like they're closing in. She has to be imagining it right?
Was this all her fault?
She finds her voice and manages to scream out.
"Help!"
The guards rush in, take in the scene, and usher her out quickly trying to calm her down.
The entire time her breathing is shallow and she nearly collapses. The guards are talking to her the entire time but she can't hear anything over the pounding of her heart.
When they get outside, the guards call 911 and she collapses on the ground.
She manages to get her phone out so she can make a call.
Phil: Hello?
Johanna: Phil Mr. Alabaster is dead.
Phil: Oh my gosh. Do you think-
Johanna: I think it's the serial killer.
Phil: Crap. Are you ok?
Johanna: Physically. Mentally not so sure.
Phil: Can you drive?
Johanna: I think.
Phil: Ok. Come over to my place and we can talk without other people hearing us.
Johanna: Ok.
She presses the end call button and slides her phone in her pocket. She runs over to the impala and starts driving the familiar road to Phil's.

"I swear I am not obsessed," Caspian insists as he falls on his couch.
"Mm hm sure," Izsac says smirking at Caspian. "Dude it's ok to like her."
"I just don't get it," Caspian insists for the 10th time that night. "She hated my guts. She even said so!"
Izsac holds up his hands in defeat when his phone buzzes. He turns his phone on and squints at the screen.
"Phil said he can't hang out today," Izsac says a bit sadly. "Something came up."
"Aww Izzie you look like a puppy that just got kicked," Caspian says with over dramatic emotion in his voice.
Izsac bitch glares at him before dramatically falling on the bed.
"Dude now you look like a teenage girl that just got told her date couldn't come," Caspian says raising an eyebrow at Izsac.
Izsac flushes red and throws a pillow at Caspian.
"Shut up."

"I had to cancel my date with Izsac for you so be thankful," Phil says as way of greeting her as she walks through the door.
"Dude someone just died," Johanna says even though she's feeling better already. "And you did not have a date with him."
"I had a hang out for your information," Phil says smiling.
She forces a smile back and stares at her hands.
"You ok?" Phil asks his smile fading.
She tries to nod but ends up shaking her head.
She's dealt with worse, far worse than a man in the ceiling and strange writing on the walls. But what she saw, the way Mr. Alabasters inside where made outsides is strange. There was nothing there.
She couldn't deduct how the kill was done.
Of course Phil doesn't know about her ability to deduct about deaths. He knows she can deduct some people and such. But this still put her on edge.
"Phil," she takes a deep breath before continuing. "I saw something. Don't call me crazy, but Mr. Alabaster was still alive. He was on the ceiling when, like, an invisible hand came and forced itself into his stomach and wrote I warned you Johanna on the wall in blood."
"I believe you."
"Seriously?" She asks, flabbergasted he would believe her story.
"Yes," he replies easily. "You wouldn't be so shaken up over nothing."
She feels her lips being pulled up into a smile. It wasn't huge, but it was something.
Phil smiles back and then busies himself by guiding them to the living room of his apartment. They flop onto the couch and Johanna rests her head on phil's shoulder.
"So what now?" She asks, breaking the comfortable silence.
"Caspian still needs to be protected," he muses. "But the thing is after you. If you stop, then he'll stop. Hopefully."
"Hopefully," she scoffs.
Phil shrugs and the two fall into silence again.
