I stand up from my bed and look around. This place is too big for my sake, I think to myself. The wooden floor and wide hallways make the place look antique, but the fancy, white walls say otherwise. I study the ceiling painted white, thinking that I have my own house. You do, I remind myself. I laugh to myself and proceed to walking down the hallways. I reach the middle of the house where a bright light shines, illuminating the whole area. For most people, they would say I am living the dream, but living in this house, with only three maids and where my best friend only visits me every once in a while, I can't be more lonely. No, my parents don't live with me. They live in New York, where they have a large business that I know nothing of, and that's the reason why I was able to afford my own house, and why I was able to hire 3 maids who keep me company.
As I lean against the stair railings to observe the bright living room, my Snowshoe cat makes its way to my bare feet, rubbing itself against my skin. I pick her up with a smile, poking her nose with my index finger, causing her to shake her furry head. I laugh at the cuteness of the sight before me, and at that time, Avory, a maid of mine, appears in the living room.
"Ah, Ms. Davis! I finally found you!" she exclaims, clapping her hands in success, the sound echoing throughout the lonely house.
"It appears you did, Mrs. Ansley." I laugh.
"Well, madam, Thimbles needs her bath, and me and Brin are giving it to her." she says.
"Alright, then." I start, walking down the wooden staircase, "Thimbles, you behave, okay?" I instruct my cat with a smile, handing her to Avory.
Thimbles nods and me and Avory laugh, the smart cat closing its eyes. Avory walks away, cat in hand, but stops in front of the door to Thimbles' own room. She turns to look at me and speaks, "Ms. Martin is waiting for you in your garden, Ms. Davis." I thank her, and with that, she enters Thimbles' room and goes out of sight.I walk towards the other direction, where the door to my garden is. I open the door and scan my garden, until my eyes land on my best friend who is eating an orange as she sits down on the white, metal chair and puts down the orange on the white, metal table to wipe her hands on the cloth of the table. I lean against the glass door's doorframe, mentally laughing at how she hasn't noticed me.
She chews the last piece of orange and I smirk. She still hasn't noticed me. I tilt my head sligthly to the right to watch her better, when her head snaps towards me.
"Oh my God!" she gasps, standing up and looking at me with pure terror in her eyes, "What on earth, Danni?!"
"You should have seen your face, Jade!" I laugh, throwing my head backwards and laughing even harder.
"I hate you..." she mumbles, crossing her arms and pouting.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." I say, walking towards her, a stupid smirk on my face.
She sits down at the same time I do, not even daring to look at me as she speaks, "I really hate you."
"Hey, I said I'm sorry. I didn't even do anything! You scared yourself." I reason, nodding to myself.
She seems to think for a while, then looks at me with an embarrassed expression on her face, "You're right."
"Anyway, why'd you come?" I ask.
"Is it bad to visit my amazing best friend?" she asks back.
"Nope, I don't think so." I giggle.
"So, how's life here?" she asks.
"Well, it's fine, I guess. Just a little lonely, especially since you don't live here." I answer.
"I do now..." she whispers.
"What?"
"My parents bought me a freaking LUXURY MANSION here in Vegas. With pools, a playground, a garden, yada yada yada. I have my own car, as well. I. Own. A. Freaking. Saleen. S5S." she says.
With my jaw dropped to the floor, I stand up and start screaming happily, "Oh my God! Are you kidding me?!"
"Nope!"
"OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!" I squeal, this time with Jade joining me.
"Um, Ms. Davis?! Ms. Martin?! What's wrong?! What's happening?!" all three of my maids ask, barging in the garden and looking at us with panicked looks.
Me and Jade laugh at how panicked they are, and they sigh in relief. I wave them off and they go back inside. Corina, another one of my maids, hands Thimbles back to me and I thank her. Thimbles jumps in my arms and Corina leaves us, leaving the door open.
"Aww! Hello, Thimbles! Needles misses you!" Jade says, scooping Thimbles from my arms.
"I still think it's funny how we named our cats Thimbles and Needles." I laugh.
"Me too." she giggles, "Oh, I almost forgot!" she exclaims, handing Thimbles back to me and sitting down. I sit down as well.
"What did you almost forget?"
Jade searches her bag for a while before her face lights up and she shows me a blue card, and with that, I stood up and started squealing again.
"A freakin' credit card?! You have a freakin' credit card?!" I ask.
"Yeah! My parents gave it to me." she says as I calm down.
"We have got to go shopping." I state.
"Yes, yes we do. You wanna go shopping now?" she suggests.
"Yeah, sure. How are we gonna get there?"
"My car. I brought it here, of course."
"Alright. Let me get dressed and we'll leave." I say and the two of us enter my house, Thimbles in my arms.

A/N: I'm sorry this took so long! I was debating on whether I should make the cat a boy or a girl. Hahahahaha. And yes, Danni_Malik plays Danni Davis, and, as she said so, I play Jade Martin. :))
SALEEN S7 IS ONE OF THE COOLEST CARS I KNOW.
Hahahahahahaha.
At the side is a picture of Thimbles, I think.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Thimbles is a Snowshoe cat breed and Needles (Jade's cat) is a Ragdoll cat breed, okay? Okay.
