*Danni's P.O.V.*
I lay on my bare stomach and play with my Blackberry, twirling it in my hands as I wait for a notification that says my favorite authors have updated their stories on Wattpad. I click on the notification and read the fanfic, Thimbles snuggling closer to me but wakes up when a laughing person comes in my room, causing me to panick as I'm only in my undies.
"Yeah, sure! And I'll have a unicorn!" he yells at someone outside and closes the door. He turns around and his eyes land on me, causing him to turn around and cover his eyes, "Oh my God."
I pull the covers over me and speak, "I, uh, I'm... covered, now."
"I'm really sorry. I thought this was my room. The rooms are really confusing. Jade has a really huge house. She's such a lucky person. I swear she's one fo the richest person I know. Say, you're pretty. Oh, I'm gonna go leave now. I'm really sorry for barging in on you. Your phone's about to fall, by the way. I'll see you soon." he rambles and heads out but I stop him.
"Wait." I pause and grab my phone which is on the edge of the bed.
He turns around to look at me, "Y-yeah?"
"You called me pretty." I say, smirking. He blushes.
"D-did I? O-oh. Um, yeah, I, uh, gotta go." he stutters, pointing at the door.
"I'm Danielle." I say before he is even able to go out.
"N-Niall." he says.
"I know." I giggle and he seems to calm down.
"Fan?" he inquires.
"Yeah!"
"Oh, can I, uh, sit down?" he asks again and I nod, him walking towards the bed and sitting down.
"You're even cuter in person." I say in admiration, studying the Irish lad in front of me.
"Thank you." he blushes, looking down. I laugh, "So, Danielle-"
"Call me Danni. Two n's." I interrupt him.
"Oh, okay. Nice name for a nice-" he gets cut off by the door opening.
"Danni, there are some-Oh my God." Jade gasps, "I-I'm sorry for interrupting your, um, moment..." she mumbles awkwardly and backs out.
"No!! We weren't doing anything!" I shout and she stops, "Niall thought my room was his room, so he accidentally barged in."
"Oh, okay. As I was saying, there are some people in the living room who are waiting for you. Don't ask me why 'cause I have absolutely no idea." she immediately adds, "Oh and it's almost 5 so if you have no plans in coming down soon, come down by 7, dinner will be ready by then."
"Thanks." I say and Jade leaves.
"I should go too. We're having late afternoon games." he tells me and stands up.
"Can't miss those." I smile and he chuckles, leaving the room and locking the door.
I put down my phone and stand up, picking out a random set of clothes from the bag that Ryan gave me a couple of hours ago. I check how I look and head for the door, pulling my hair up in a high ponytail.
I take the last step of the stairs and go to the living room where 3 big men in suits and shades and a lady in her late 20's are waiting for me. The lady looks at me and stands up.
"Ah, Danni!!" she exclaims, hugging me.
"Uh, hey...?" I greet uneasily.
She pulls away at arm's length and stares at me with a smile, "You've grown into such a beautiful person."
"Camelia?" memories come back to me and I remember my parents' most trusted assistant and one of my closest friends, "Camelia!! Oh my God, I missed you!!"
"I missed you, too!! I haven't seen you in 2 years!!" she embraces me in another hug and I hug back.
"I know! Where were you when I moved here a couple months ago? You even missed my 17th and 18th birthday!" I pout, pulling away.
"I'm sooooo sorry. I was called by one of my friends who told me that there was this meeting I had to attend to with some of the most famous managers on earth and after the first meeting, they made me stay for a year more. After that, Karl told me he was going on a business trip and no one would be able to watch Alyssa, so I had no choice but to stay home." she explains almost too fast for my liking.
"Ah, Karl finally found a job, eh?" I smirk, talking about Camelia's useless excuse of a husband.
"Apparently, yes. And his job has been helping a lot. Not that this job isn't...." she whispers the last part.
"How's the little girl?" I ask and sit down after she sits down.
"Alyssa's fine! It's her 4th birthday in 2 months!" she squeals, obviously very excited.
"Ah! I wish I could go. Why don't you just tell her Aunt Danni said happy birthday, yeah?"
"I think you can go. I'm sure your parents would let you take a break for a while." Camelia adds, taking a sip from her steaming cup of tea.
"How? I'm here in Las Vegas, and you guys are in New York. That's more than a mile apart. And I can't leave here. Me and Jade are just having our short, early winter break from school. We're actually lucky that we were given an early break. I sure need it." I say, sighing at the last part.
"Oh, goodie, then that means you can stay longer there at NYC." she smiles.
"What?! I am not going to New York! I'm staying here!" I exclaim, standing up to leave the room.
"No. You're leaving on October 12, a week from now. That's the reason why your parents sent me here!" she argues, standing up as well.
"Why?!"
"They need you! So you're leaving on Sunday and that's final!"
