I looked everywhere for Aubrie the next morning. She had to know what happened last night, she wouldn't believe it.

But I couldn't find her anywhere. At first it was fine like maybe she was late or sick but she would have contacted me. But I called her over and over, and all my texts where unanswered.

I started getting really worried in 5th period when I still haden't seen her. And now come to think of it, I haven't seen her since the party. The last time I saw her was with that strange guy.

This was bad. What if she went home with him. What if she's in trouble. I wanted to help but I didn't know how. If I called the police and they found her drunk we would be in major trouble.

So I kept my mouth shut and waited for a call.

At lunch I sat by myself under the bleachers. I didn't really have any friends besides Aubrie.

I thought about calling Luke just to see where he was. I think he really likes me.

I don't really know how I feel about the our kisses though. It was all really sudden, I mean I just met him a few weeks ago.

He seems like a nice guy. And I know he's had a tough life. Aubrie told me his parents separated when he was young and last night he said his brother died last year. Those kind of things destroy a family. Maybe that's what he meant by he has nobody to turn to.

I really wanted somebody to talk to right now but I didn't know if it would bother him. I don't want him to think I'm a nuisance.

I sat there alone for a few minutes, missing Aubrie but then decided to leave when a group of people gathered under the other end of the bleachers. They probably came here to hide and get stoned.

I walked out to the parking lot and sat in my car. I'll just call, if he answers I'll tell him about Aubrie. I really need to tell someone, she could be in trouble somewhere.

I call and it rings and rings and someone picks up. "Hello?" I hear someone say. I feel my breath hitch. It's girls voice. But maybe it's just a friend or maybe a cousin. But if it's not then I don't want her to know about me. So I decide to trick her.

"Hello is Luke around?" I ask in a heightened teacher voice.

"No he's not available right now. May I ask who's calling?" She asked.

"Yes I'm Luke's AP History teacher I'm calling about a project of his. What's your relation to Luke?"

"Um I'm his girlfriend, Kathrine Dayes." She says.

I feel my eyes tearing up. I try to answer but I can't.

"Hello? Hello? Are you still there? I can pass on a message. He just stepped into the bathroom and will be right back." She says innocently.

It's that red head he was with the first day I say him. I assumed he wasn't with her anymore since he decided to kiss me. But I was wrong.

I felt my throat tighten up as I realized he had been playing me all along.

I hung up and sat there for a few minutes.

That lying cheating little bastard. I threw my phone into the shotgun seat along with my purse. I can't deal with school right now. I need to find Aubrie.

So I decided to drive to where I last saw her. The party.

It took a while to remember where the house was but I found it eventually. I parked across the street. It didn't look like anyone was home.

I walked up to the front door and knocked. Nobody answered. But the door was locked.

I went around back to try and find a way in. I didn't see anyone but why I did see shocked me. It was Aubrie's car.

That means she never drove away last night. Which means somebody took her with them or she's still here.

I found the back door and it was conveniently unlocked.

The house was a complete mess. Paper cups all over the floor, strange stains on the walls, sticky footprints on the bar.

And not a soul to be seen.

I explored the house, stepping over trash and broken furniture. Whoever hosted this party was going to be pissed, everything was wrecked. I found a downstairs bathroom and went inside.

I held my nose because of the horrible stench. Anything or anyone could be here, I needed to get out of here soon. If someone was here I definitely didn't want to meet them or I could be in serious trouble.

Suddenly I heard a cell phone ringing in the next room over. Then somebody answered and I heard muffled voices. I wasn't in this house alone.

I turned and started hurrying toward the back door but I tripped and sent a trash can crashing to the floor.

And now they know I'm here.
