I tried to stop crying but I couldn't.

It actually seemed like he cared about me. But obviously he's only being nice, I mean he didn't say he had feelings for me and he still has a girlfriend.

I had hoped Luke would come to drive me home but I guess he's busy. Probably with his girlfriend.

A nurse came into my room and listed off a few pain meds that I should take off a clipboard. Then she told me I was free to go.

I drove home listening to Miranda Lambert on the radio.

When I pulled up into our driveway it was about noon and I was really hungry. I unlocked the front door and went in to make myself a sandwich.

But I didn't have any bread so I sighed and drove to Walmart sullenly.

I got bread and milk and some eggs for tomorrow morning and then I decided I needed ice-cream.

I rounded the corner to the frozen foods isle and BAM. I ran strait into someone and landed on my butt.

"Omygod I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going!" They said and immediately helped me up.

It was a guy. He pulled me up quickly. His mouth was slightly open and his bright blue eyes were wide.

"I-I'm sorry." He stuttered and stepped away dropping my hands.

I smiled. He was so awkward and puppy dog like.

"The least I can do to make up for this is take you out to eat." He smiled warmly.

"I'd like that. I'm Heather by the way." I said shaking his hand.

"I'm Leo." He said and helped me pick up all my dropped groceries. He laughed and picked up the eggs "I'm terribly sorry mam but these are beyond saving." I giggled at his theatrics.

We both dropped all our groceries in a nearby shopping cart and left the store.

"So what do you say to Taco Bell?" He asked.

"Shut up I love Taco Bell I'll meet you there." I smiled and playfully punched him on his arm. It felt like we have been friends forever.

We met at Taco Bell a few minuets later.

Leo bought my food like such a gentleman and we shared a table in the back. I've never laughed so much in my life, he's so funny.

He looked down at his watch a few hours later and frowned. "Sorry I've really got to get going I have an job interview at 8 o'clock sharp."

"Um how old are you?" I asked awkwardly.

"I turn 23 next month." He smiled as we threw away our trash.

"Wow you look like 18." I said suddenly a bit nervous to be hanging out with a guy five years older than me.

He grabbed a pen out of his back pocket and scribbled a number on my hand.

"You ever want to hang out or just talk or anything just call me up." He said as we walked to our cars.

We stood awkwardly in the parking lot for a few seconds and then suddenly he gave me a quick hug. I smiled, he was warm and smelled like cinnamon.

Then we got in our cars and drove off.
