"Look at him trying to run away!"The yelling and cackling of the bullies echoed from behind Taehyung. His legs ached as he moved as fast as they could away from them. Looking back over his shoulder, he was able to see their dark silhouettes being illuminated by the moon, getting closer and closer. His body began to tremble with fatigue and fear as he helplessly searched for somewhere to get away, but they were closing in on him and his options were running low. He ran and he ran, the words: please, someone help me! echoed in his head.
Step.
Step.
Step.
The street came to a dead end.
Taehyung choked as his eyes filled with water. No, there's got to be a way out. Please! His eyes darted around quickly - oh, please, please, please! The group began to close in like a pack of wolves.
"What's the matter Taehyung? No where left to run?" One taunted, the callous smirk on his face rising as he looked at the other's trembling form. Taehyung panted, the painful throb in his chest hammering down like a drum. He gasped as he noticed an alleyway. Without hesitation, he jumped up and sprinted as fast as he could down into the darkness.
"Not so fast." Another chuckled, promptly tripping him as he fled, watching as he fell to the floor. He leant down and stared at the boy, weak and defenceless. Even in the darkness of the alleyway, Taehyung could see his cold expression as he narrowed his eyes with disgust, the outlines of his face awfully familiar. "Idiot." The boy muttered, the unsettling feeling of saliva that had been spat from his mouth slowly trailing down Taehyung's face. Taehyung struggled to bite back the tears that were soon to make their way down my face.
"Hoseok..." One member of the group called pitifully, putting a hand on the guy's shoulder who stood above Taehyung aggressively. "Don't go too rough this time, people are starting to ask questions." He told Hoseok. Taehyung bit his lip with an unintelligible deep feeling of betrayal at the name, but nonetheless, stayed silent. Hoseok gripped his hands to Taehyung's collar, pulling him up from the gravel.
"Oh, Taehyung would never spill though..." The bully began, before tightening his grip with his fists. "...would he?" He smirked staring down at the trembling boy below him. As much Taehyung tried to fight it, his eyes began to fill with tears and before he knew it, they began to fall from his face. Hoseok bit the inside of cheek, pulling his body up from the floor and slamming him against the alleyway wall. "I asked you a question!" He shouted, before swinging a punch to the terrified boy's face.
"N-...n...no." He finally answered shakily, as he felt the pain begin to settle in his cheek. With his head being hit to the side, he looked over to see the other members of the group raiding his bag. "W-what are t-they d-doing to my stuff?" He choked out, stuttering as the tears flow down his bruised cheek that began numbing in cold temperature. The hurt filled him entirely as he could only watch as all of his possessions were emptied before his eyes, and were taken. His mouth fell agape as he stared, before he then felt another shot of pain in his left cheek.
"Fucking loser." Hoseok growled, punching him again, and again, and again. Taehyung fell to the floor with pain, the warm blood oozing from his face. The young boy sobbed as he curled into a ball before he felt kicks being hurled into his body, left, right and centre.
"H-help!" He finally screamed out, fearing how much time he had left before he became critically injured. "Someone! Help me, please!" He begged, his voice pained as his body was bruised and battered. But the continuous beatings drowned out his cries - nothing but silence surrounded them, the only sound came from the snarls and sniggers of those above Taehyung, and the noise of the harsh collision between the bullies' hurling feet and his vulnerable body. His hands desperately covered his head as protection. He could do nothing but take the kicks over and over and-
