The two startled, turning their heads to the left, Hoseok's hand still resting on Taehyung's cheek, the warm liquid drying on his thumb. There stood Seokjin, his eyes wide and mouth agape, hand frozen mid-air and the glass he was previously holding shattered into pieces on the floor. His gaze was stuck on Hoseok's hand, his fingers, touching Taehyung's face. So casually. So arrogantly. He wasn't going to let Hoseok touch Taehyung- but wait, Taehyung was smiling. He was smiling.

The words hammered in his skull, causing a headache.

"I'm going out. See you." Seokjin murmured sharply through clenched teeth, the glass left shattered across the floor. Seokjin stood at the door, throwing on a coat, grabbing his keys from the side and slamming the door behind him as he left.

Hoseok dropped his hand from Taehyung's face, placing it onto one of his open textbooks on the table, turning the page. "Anyway, umm, about the project, d-do you have any ideas?" He asked, getting out a pen and drawing a bubble in the middle, inside writing: 'Ideas.'

Taehyung smiled, leaning forward to stare at the page.

"Yeah, I have a few actually."

Hoseok beamed, jotting down notes of Taehyung's suggestions. He could already see Taehyung relaxing around him, not so on-edge. Of course, there wasn't much change, but at least Taehyung could form sentences around him, and sit more comfortably. It may not be much, but it's a start.

On the other side of the door, Seokjin speed-walked down the sidewalk, reaching into his pocket and quickly clicking on Yoongi's contact and calling, the phone held closely to his ear.

"Hello?" Came a gravelly voice from the other line, barely audible from a mass of cheers and screams.

"It's Seokjin. I need to talk to you, can we meet up?" He asked, tone serious.

"Urm, yeah sure. My concert finishes in about ten minutes. Is it important? I promised Namjoon I'd go out with him after this."

"Pretty important." Seokjin scoffed, slowering his pace and sitting on a stray bench in the midst of the pathway.

"I turned him down last time too though, he might not let me off this time."

"I don't care." Seokjin sassed. Yoongi let out a scornful huff.

"Well, how important is this 'thing' you want to talk about?" Yoongi asked, "We can get it over with now over the phone if you make it quick."

"It's not like that." Seokjin whined, moving his hand up to rake his fingers through his hair, frustrated, images of Hoseok and Taehyung together filtering through his head. Yoongi hummed. "Look, if you and Namjoon hanging out is that important to you, you can bring him along with you. But seriously, Yoongi, this isn't just a stupid call-out. I'm having a freaking crisis."

"Okay," Yoongi said, more calm. "I can meet you at quarter to seven at the coffee place around the corner?"

"Cool. See you there." Seokjin agreed, hanging up the phone and making his way over to the café.
