Taehyung yawned, his eyes peering sleepily through cracked eyelids. He slowly sat up and yawned as he scratched his head, before he then became aware of his surroundings.
Where the hell am I?
He looked around the room he found himself in curiously and down at his clothes - Spider-Man? What? - before he then felt the ache travel throughout his body and it all came back to him.
'You're coming to my house and I'm going to look after you.'
So that's where he is. At that man's house. Wait. Does that mean that the other also undressed him?! Taehyung swiftly looks beneath his clothes and notices that his normally beaten body has been plastered and fixed up.
Did a stranger do all of this for me?
"Oh, you're awake?" Taehyung flinched, looking up to see none other than the stranger from yesterday standing at the doorframe with a cup of coffee in his hands. "How are you feeling?" He asked, a look of genuine concern on his face.
"I'm feeling okay actually." Taehyung replied honestly. "Um, thank you for patching me up. I'm very grateful." Taehyung smiled softy. Seokjin smiled back, noting how this is the first time he's seen Taehyung genuinely smiling, his rectangular-shaped grin making him even more cute than ever.
"I'll make you breakfast if you like?" Jin offered, taking a sip of his coffee. "Although I haven't got much, it's mainly just toast, and I haven't got any jam." He offered with a smile.
"Thank you, but I'm fine." Taehyung responded politely, the ends of his lips barely curling upward. Seokjin pouted, staring down at Taehyung's thin body, sat awkwardly on the bed frame.
Seokjin sighed setting the coffee down on the side table and moving forward and sitting on the end of the bed.
"Taehyung," Seokjin began. "Who were those guys who did this to you?" He asked.
Taehyung looked down, almost ashamed. "Just some guys..." he mumbled with dismay.
"Taehyung..." Seokjin sighed. "I can't just ignore what happened yesterday, you-"
"They're from my high school." Taehyung cut the other off abruptly. "I... I barely know their names." Taehyung stammered, his face pale. "Er-erm... One I remember in p-particular was called Hoseok- but really, I don't know any of them, that's all I heard..." He scrambled shakily. Seokjin's expression faltered as he noticed the trembling of Taehyung's body as he lifted his hand to move a strand of hair from his eyes. Seokjin noticed his uneasy gestures and began to move closer steadily. With a gentle press of his hand over Taehyung's, the latter flinched.
"No one can hurt you here. Don't worry." Seokjin smiled assuringly. Taehyung let out a strained breath, smiling back as he squeezed Jin's hand tightly. "How long has this been going on?"
"A couple of months," Taehyung began. "I don't understand why, maybe I'm just different." He squeaked, looking down. "Am I weird? Is that why?" He asked himself. "They wouldn't just pick on me for no reason, would they?" He muttered weakly, tears beginning to fall onto theirs hands interlocked. Seokjin watched as he felt the teardrop fall onto his hand.
"Taehyung, I promise you," Jin vowed. "...I won't let them hurt you. Never again." Taehyung looked up at Seokjin, his eyes washed over in disbelief, a mixture of uncertainty and naivety.
"I don't know if I can believe that."
"I promise."
Seokjin barely had time to adjust as suddenly lept forward and wrapped his arms around the other's neck. Jin smiled as he felt Taehyung's warm arms wrap around him, he hugged back tightly and buried his face in Taehyung's neck.
