"Namjoon, I said cut up the vegetables, not shred them!" Seokjin whined, turning to look at Namjoon who held a half-dead carrot in his hand and in the other a knife. Namjoon stared down at the chopping board with innocence.
"I didn't shred them," Namjoon retaliated. "I cut them thinly."
Seokjin shook his head with a small groan of irritation. "From now onwards, you stay away from the kitchen, okay?"
Namjoon huffed, placing the carrot and knife down onto the chopping board as Seokjin pushed Namjoon out of the way. Seokjin picked up the knife and placed the carrot onto the board. "Watch me carefully, okay?" Seokjin instructed. Namjoon hummed, standing behind Seokjin and looking at the board from over his shoulder. "You angle the knife so that it's pointing downwards, and then..." Seokjin sliced the carrot, a chop noise sounding in the air. "Just like that."
Namjoon pouted. "Wait, I can't see." Namjoon complained.
"Well, move closer then." Seokjin sighed, only to get cut off as he felt Namjoon's head rest on his shoulder, his body pressed against his back.
"This okay?" Namjoon whispered into Seokjin's ear, which began to tint red.
"Y-Yes. Just pay a-attention, okay?" Seokjin coughed, his voice regaining composure. Namjoon nodded, his hands sliding around Seokjin's waist as he began chopping the carrot. Seokjin stuttered in his movements as he felt Namjoon wrap his arms around him. Seokjin flinched, accidentally slipping the knife the wrong way and slicing his finger.
Namjoon gasped breaking away quickly and picking up Seokjin's hand, inspecting the cut. "Oh my god, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." Seokjin replied, wincing slightly as the cut began to bleed.
"You're bleeding." Namjoon blinked as he stared at the cut.
"I'm okay, seriously..." Seokjin assured him, moving over to the sink and turning in the tap, letting his finger fall underneath the running water. Namjoon quickly rushed toward the cupboard and hurriedly pulling out the first aid kit. Seokjin only watched as Namjoon pulled out a plaster and carefully wrapped it around his finger.
"There we go, all better." Namjoon beamed, pulling Seokjin's hand up and placing a kiss to his finger. Seokjin blushed furiously, tugging his hand out of Namjoon's grip and moving back to the saucepan. Namjoon smirked, moving to Seokjin's side, elbowing him lightly. Seokjin returned the nudge, sending the into laughter as they continued to have a nudge war against each other.
In the other room, Hoseok, Taehyung, Yoongi and Jimin were watching TV across two sofas. Hoseok and Taehyung were watching Netflix, spread across a whole sofa as they cuddled. Taehyung giggled as Hoseok nuzzled into his neck. Hoseok laughed quietly in reply, tickling Taehyung's sides causing the other to burst into laughter, squirming and squealing.
Next to them, were Yoongi and Jimin who both shared a single sofa. Jimin sneaked a glance over at the other couple on the couch before turning back to Yoongi who looked uninterestedly at the TV screen. Jimin smirked, stretching his arms while pretending to yawn before slowly sliding his arm around Yoongi's shoulder. Jimin bit his lip as he saw Yoongi blush as he stared at Jimin's hand on his shoulder through the corner of his eye, before turning back to the screen, acting nonchalant as he felt his heart thump in his chest as Jimin's fingers stroked over the fabric of his shoulder.
Jimin smiled, resting his head on Yoongi's shoulder as he stared at him. "Yoongi~" he mewled out. Yoongi blinked, eyes flickering over at Jimin. Jimin smiled as they caught eyes. Yoongi broke their gaze quickly, coughing.
"What?" He grumbled, trying to maintain a steady tone.
Jimin pouted, "...you're being a grumpy poo again." Yoongi snapped his eyes up to Jimin's.
