"Percy. Percy!" I yelled. "What's going on with you? You need to move on."
"Why should I?" he asked.
"There is a saying. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift. That's why they call it the present." I paused. "Appreciate that you get to live in it, Percy."
"I don't have to listen to you. I will do as I wish."
I walked over to the window, staring out at the beach. I thought I saw an owl fly by. I sighed, how this place must remind him of her. I knew about those moonlit walks and picnics on the beach they had had. Those walks around Rome, where she would admire the architecture and fantasize about how she could make it Greek and put it on Olympus.
I wish I could be like that, to have a steady relationship, to not be constantly moving on from my broken heart.
I looked at him. "You are so lucky." I said.
"Why!" he barked. "Why am I so lucky, I'm a widower that will never again love. You didn't even barely know her! You have no idea how I feel!"
"You think I haven't lost anyone I love?"
A/N: Okay, so I know this was short, I'm sorry. Can you guess who it is? Is it too obvious? Don't be afraid to criticize.
