Maya P.O.V *EDITED*
I am so excited! today I am going to go shopping with Riley for our outfits for the homecoming dance, which is also today, I wasn't initially planning on going after the accident but now that I'm going with Lucas I couldn't be more excited.
No school today because of parent conferences, really convenient, okay I better get ready. I quickly shower in like ten minutes because I don't want to be late, I pick out my outfit it's one of my favorites.

Now I just have to text Riley to see if she's ready.
-text to Riley-
M-hey riles u ready?😋
R-yeah, you can come now😆
M-ok see you in ten😄
R-ok see you😃

Well I better head out.
Riley P.O.V
I shower and put on my outfit (Riley's outfit in the media the third one)
I finish doing my hair just in time when Maya arrives, we head out and go to the subway.
She looks excited, we arrive at the mall, it's kinda crowded but not as much as I expected since it's homecoming.
We go into the shop and there is so many dresses, every color you could possibly think of and so many different styles, all beautiful though.
"Which color looks better riles blue or red?" Maya asked me as she looked between two dress racks one with blue dresses and another with red dresses.
"Whatever dress or color will look good on you Maya." I said with a smile, she grabbed a dress and put it against her chest and started spinning around in the mirror.
Fantasizing about Lucas again
I wish Lucas hadn't left to Texas, then I would have been the one he would have taken to homecoming.
I didn't even realize Maya was calling me.
I turned around and I saw Maya had a beautiful dress, it was amazing and complimented her perfectly, she ended up buying it and I bought mine, but hers was so pretty, I have to admit I was kinda jealous. (A/N you will get to see the dress in the next chapter)
Well we better head back and get ready, I have to hide my feelings well.
If not someone could get hurt.

Something is definitely going on with Riley, and I am going to find out what it is.
