Riley P.O.V. *EDITED*
Right now I am heading to school to put my plan in action. I grab my blonde wig out of the bag and put it on, adjusting it to look a lot like Maya's hair. Now I just have to wait for the perfect moment, I see Lucas walking towards his locker.
I put my head down and went to give him a hug, he hugged back its working.
I saw a familiar blonde through the corner of my eye, I acted in swift motion and kissed Lucas, he kissed back for a moment. I also took of my wig just as Maya turned to look at us.
I heard a faint gasp and me and Lucas turned our heads, then he looked at me and pushed me away.
"Maya! wait! It's not what it looks like!" Lucas said but Maya had already ran off outside, crying.
Yes! success! My plan worked perfectly, now Lucas has to come to me.
No this isn't right, this isn't me, I would never hurt Maya! I'm the one who controls my body not you!!
And in a quick second I came back, the real me, yes finally, I was back in control.
Wait, oh no, what have I done? I let my jealousy get the best of me, and now I hurt Maya bad.
Lucas ran outside, and I quickly followed he looked back at me with a angry expression.
Then I saw Maya on the street unconscious, she was bleeding, a car was in front of her, Lucas ran to her.
"How could you Riley?!" Lucas shouted at me, I took a step back, this was my fault.
"It wasn't me, it was the jealousy! I am calling an ambulance." I said and I turned to call 911 as quickly as I could.
Maya P.O.V
As I was turning the corner I saw something I never wanted to see.
Lucas kissing Riley, I gasped and they both turned their heads, Lucas pushed Riley away.
But my heart was already broken. "Maya! wait! It's not what it looks like!" Lucas said calling out to me, funny how you can feel the physical pain in that moment.
I left running, my tears falling fast, I felt the wold around me spinning.
Oh no the hyperdepression was kicking in, I felt my whole body going numb and my vision going blurry, I heard what sounded like a car rushing towards me, but I couldn't see where I was going and then I felt a hit.
I blacked out again.
Lucas
Maya has been in a coma for the past three weeks I don't know what to do anymore.
Riley keeps telling me she is sorry but I don't know if I should believe her.
I'm at the hospital right now with Maya's parents and the Mathews.
Maya's mom is really sad and tired, I can notice from her bloodshot eyes and the bags under them.
I feel awful, how could I fall for Riley's trick? I should have protected Maya better, what kinda boyfriend am I?
Riley went to the bathroom again probably to cry her eyes out after what happened, she has been doing it more often.
She keeps saying it was the jealousy, I really don't know what to believe anymore, the doctors say the same thing everyday.
They say they don't know how long she will be in a coma.
I just really wish she could get better soon because I really want to say that I am sorry.
The parents are talking amongst each other and I am just lost in thought.
That is until Riley comes back, everyone goes quiet, she looks like she is about to cry again.
We just have to wait, tomorrow maybe just maybe she will wake up.
