Well here was the day Lucas was going to try out for the football team, his nerves were mixing with the excitement he was feeling.

He wanted to impress Maya, that was the true reason he was trying out, he liked sports too but it wasn't the true reason.

Lucas was walking to the field feeling a bit nervous snap out of it Lucas he thought
Maya is going to be here watching.

And so are Riley and farkle you are going go do great you can do this, you won't let them down.

"Ok guys, it's time for the tryouts you think you got what It takes? well show me." said
Coach as he looked directly at each of them.

-about an hour later-

"Wow coach really works us out huh?" Said Lucas to one of his teammates.

"Yeah, but believe me it gets worse" Said the teammate as he took a drink of his water bottle.

Lucas ran over to Maya Riley and farkle. "Hey guys, how did I do?" asked Lucas, slightly nervous to hear their opinion.

"Great, you are going to get in for sure." Said farkle while giving him a confident smile.

"Yeah, you were awesome!" Riley said excitedly with a small clap.

"Well huckleberry I am impressed, that was pretty good." Maya said with a smile.

"Thanks Maya." Said Lucas as he gave her a bright smile. "No problem ranger Rick." Maya said sharing his bright smile.

Just then Justin came running towards them and Maya went to hug him.

There was that feeling again like he wanted to strangle him, he just gave him a bad vibe.

Why was he feeling like this? He usually didn't feel like this not even with Riley.

Maya was different. she was beautiful in her own way and Lucas liked that, did that
Mean that he liked her?

No that couldn't be possible, Maya was one of his best friends and she had a boyfriend.

But that didn't change his feelings for her he really liked her, he needed to talk to someone about this but no it couldn't be or could it?
