Great you're back! Now, here's what I have to say about today's devotions:
Proverbs 31:10 ASV A worthy woman who can find? For her price is far above rubies.

After reading this verse, I actually researched about rubies. I wondered why the Bible compared a woman to rubies? If we're worth a lot, shouldn't we be compared to diamonds?
Straight to the point, here's what I found out: rubies are the most expensive colored gemstone on the planet, and they are much rarer than diamonds. If you were to put the best quality ruby beside the best quality diamond of the same carat, the ruby would be much, much, much more expensive.
I think that the saying should be, "Rubies are a woman's best friend." Don't you?
According to today's devotions, "A Proverbial Girl takes proper care of herself because she knows that her body, soul and mind are the temple of God."
Can we all just take a moment and let that sink in?

Right now, I am not the best I can be at taking care of myself. Scratch that. I am terrible at taking care of myself! This is something want to work on. I know this will involve everyday work and require conscious effort.
In order to do improve at taking care of myself, I know that it's important that I know the things that add to my value, and the things that decrease it. After all, how can I know how I will improve when I don't know what I should improve on?
I did the LIVE IT OUT of the devotional, and I am going to share it with you. I pray to God that I will be able to work on this list. And I hope that you will also be able to pray for me, too.
