"So how are we gonna do this?" Yuu asked. The final bell had rung, meaning the day was finally over. "How about I sleep over at your house." I asked. He smiled and nodded. "Sure, just need to call my mom. You wouldn't mind, would you?"
I shook my head. "No, not at all. What's her number?"
He told me her number as I typed it in. I then called her and handed my phone to him.

"Hi Mom. I was wondering if someone could stay at our house for tonight."

He paused and began listening to his mother on the other side of the line.
"You don't know him."

"Well... it's a long story. I'll tell you when we get home."

"Ok, bye."

He handed me back my phone and smiled. "She said yes." I smiled.
"I just need to pick up a few things from my house first."

"What about your parents? Shouldn't you ask them first?" He squeezed my hand for what seemed like the millionth time. I shook my head. "My mom actually works late so she won't be around for me to ask her."

"Your dad?" He asked.

I frowned. "Not in the picture."

He gave me a look of understanding. "Well then let's go." I nodded. "Yeah."

We began to make our way out of school and to my house. I held his hand tightly. I heard that guys with Yuu's conditions were discriminated by many people. I was here to protect Yuu and protect him I will, even if he didn't like me.

I quickly made my way to the my house. Yuu stumbled a couple of times as a result of not being able to keep up. "Why are you in such a rush?"

"Sorry. We're almost there, I promise." I apologized. The house finally came to view and I began to slow down. I made my way to the gate and opened it.
"We're here."
He gave a sigh of relief. "Finally."

I made my way to the door to unlocked it. Once I opened it, I dragged him to my room. I began to pack a uniform for tomorrow, some pajamas, socks, and many other things that were necessary for tonight. I quickly wrote a note and left it on my bed. "Let's go Yuu-chan,"

After Yuu gave me the address to his house, I found out we live only a few blocks away from each other. "We're here." I made my way to the door.

"Mika, I need to tell you something."

"What is it?" He squeezed my hand. "It's about my mom. My mom's nice and all, but she's not really one for physical contact, especially when it's with new people. So please don't shake her hand or anything."
I nodded. "Alright. Now let's go in." As I opened the door, the smell of curry filled the entire house.

"MOM I'M HOME!" Yuu yelled.
After a few seconds a woman came. She had looked just like her son. Her ebony hair was up in a messy bun, strands of hair stuck out every which way. She wore black framed glasses that rested on the bridge of her nose and shielded her viridescent eyes. A loose white tunic covered both her chest and torso she also wore capris that ended mid-calf and white socks that hugged her feet.

She was what most people called, beautiful.

"Hi Yuu. So, who is this mystery visitor-" She then made eye contact with me, her eyes widened as a response. To me, she looked very familiar, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.
She ran towards me and hugged me.
"Why hello there, Mikaela Shindō."

I let a out an uneasy laugh. "So much for no physical contact. And how do you know my name?" She quickly let go. "Sorry, I looked into your eyes and it came to me."

"My mom's a psychic. One touch from a stranger could break her. Which is why I said no to physical contact, but my mom approached you first, so I guess it's fine."
