Eyes like Emeralds {MikaYuu}

Falling

"Mikaela...Kiss me." Yuichiro held onto my pale hand, his clouded eyes giving off a pleading look. the latter's hand succesfully made their way to the blonde's collar. "I just know you're my soulmate. Won't you let me see?"

Yuichiro tugged at his collar his lips attempting to find the blonde's. The blonde was in a daze, his eyes always landing on either his emerald eyes or his plump lips. The blonde leaned, just after the raven spoke the words he had been rather satisfied to hear.

"I love you Mikaela."

"Mika?" The raven squeezed the slumbering Mika's hand tightly. The blonde's head popped up as he gasped for air. Yuichiro yelped, falling backwards as he clawed at the air, in hopes of finding something to grab onto. "Mika!" He cried out, his head nearing the concrete. Mika extended his hand, the raven's falling figure coming to an almost complete stop as he took hold of his hand and pulled him close. Yuu's chest pressed lightly against Mika's. The blonde blushed profusely, he literally had a dream about kissing Yuu and now the two were rather close.

Not to mention in front of an audience.

"Bravo! Now end it with a kiss!!"

Yuu's 'gaze' fell downward, pink dusting his cheeks as his hands tugged at the collar of Mika's uniform. "Sorry." He muttered lowly. Mika on the other hand was blushing like an idiot. Their position, the comments that were always given by a certain teenage girl, the lighthearted yet heavy dream, it was just too much.

Mikaela tore himself away from the raven before running inside. Away from Yuu.

"Mika?" Yuu said on the verge of panicking, clicking his tongue like a maniac as his hands searched aimlessly. Shinoa for once was quiet her gaze going back and forth between Yuichiro and the door that lead inside. She looked at Yuu apologetically.

"I'm gonna go get Mika. You three take care of him or else I will hunt each of you down to the ends of the earth until I have my justice." She threatened before running off in search of the blonde. She just hoped Yuu was alright with being away from Mika for a bit. Luckily Yuichiro wasn't one to get attached so easily.

Then again everything changed when it came to Mika.

Shinoa sighed before strolling casually into a restroom labeled 'Boys'.

"Oi Mika you here?"

"Dude what the fuck?" A brunette yelled as he quickly zipped up his pants, running away from the urinal and to the sink, washing his hands in a haste before running out the door.

"What's his deal?" Shinoa asked innocently before slowly open every stall. She heard sniffing in the last stall and attempted to open the door.

"Mika-san?"

"Your not supposed to be here Shinoa. Please go." Mika practically whimpered out. Shinoa shook the door relentlessly and then crossed her arms. "You have five seconds. 1..."

The door unlocked with a click. Shinoa hummed happily before skipping in. "You made the right choice Mika-san. My, my what do we have he-Mika-san what's wrong?" Mika sat in a corner, hugging his knees and burying his face into his knees, blonde locks the only thing that made him recognizable. Mika looked up as his scarlet eyes faded back to blue.

"Earlier...why'd you show me that illusion?"

Shinoa sighed before sitting crosslegged in front of the blonde. "That wasn't an illusion. Sure I was in your head when it happened, but I can assure you that was no illusion."

"What was it?" He said weakly.

"I sorta kinda put something called want in your food. It reveals to you your deepest desires in the form of a dream. You like Yuu-san."

"And Yuu-chan doesn't. I can't love my best friend. We both know that and if he finds out he'll surely hate me." Mika cried as Shinoa put a hand on his shoulder. Never had she seen a not bubbly Mika. Sure he had his bad days, but never this sincere. "He won't hate you. I'm not supposed to tell you this but, Yuu-san is...He kinda has this thing...He's...sorta kinda...definitely... not traditional." The lilac haired girl put air quote around traditional as the blonde tilted his head.

"I don't understand." Shinoa sighed in both defeat and relief. Yuu probably would've never trusted her ever again.

"Never mind Mika. Just...don't worry too much about him hating you. I assure you he won't. Maybe you two just might be soulmates." She sat against the wall with him, nudging his shoulder a bit as she gave a genuine smile. Mika only blushed, his face retreating into his knees.

"Impossible. An amazing person such as Yuu-chan deserves so much better."

Shinoa groaned. "Did it ever occur to you that you just might be what's best for him? I've known Yuu-san since a very young age. Since before he went blind. Never have I seen him so happy. Ever since you walked into his broken life and became friends he's been beyond happy. He's so dependent on you he starts freaking out the moment he can't find you. Mika you've done what we could never do for him. What we've wanted to do for ages. You made him happy. Mikaela you've made him so happy and I just know you'll continue to do so no matter what. So stop doubting yourself and go out there to Yuu-san. Now let's hurry up and go back before something bad happens to him." Mika gave a smile before nodding, wiping away his tears.

"Ok."

Shinoa hummed in triumph she grabbed Mika's hand before pulling him away back outside to their table.

"I found him." Shinoa mused before sitting on the bench next to Mistuba. Yuichiro gasped quietly, rubbing his eyes one last time with his sleeve before he hung his head.

"I'm sorry about earlier Yuu-cha-" The raven quickly snaked his arms around Mika's torso. His face resting just below his shoulder. After a brief second Yuichiro pulled back a blush now dusting his cheeks. Mika noticed his eyes glazed with tears and frowned.

"I'm just fine Yuu-chan." His hand fell to his side as he held the raven's shaking one. "The real question is, are you alright Yuu-chan?" He said softly, gently ruffling his hair with a smile. Yuichiro only smiled, his hand shakily making it's way up to the blonde's. Everyone watched in awe as the two had a moment. Shinoa snapped another picture of course.

She just hoped the best for the two.

They both deserved so much and they were just so perfect for one another. It was practically impossible for them not to be soulmates.

Why can't they just snap out of it and realize it?
