"Bye, Mika." I waved, hoping he was still there and that I wasn't waving like an idiot to nothing. "Bye, Yuu-chan." He pulled me into a hug. "See you next week," he mumbled into my shoulder.

Today was Friday, meaning no school for two days. As exciting as it sounded to most people, Mika and I dreaded this day. We no longer had an excuse to be with each other every second of the day. Mika released me from his hug and opened the door. A creaking noise occurred as a response causing me to jump a little. "Why hello there, boys." I heard my mother say from about... ten feet?

"Hi mom."
"Hello Ms. Amane."
A phone began to ring.

"Hello?" Murmurs came from the phone. Something about work, I believe.
"Yes, I'll be right there." She then hung up, a small beep escaping the phone as a result.
"How would you two like to go to my work!"

"So what exactly does your mom do for a living?" I asked Yuu. We were currently in his mother's car, heading to her work, which has yet to be named. He squeezed my hand and I smiled. I don't know why but I loved it when he did that.

"She can see the future. What do you think she does?" He said with a smile. I swear, he has the most beautiful smile I've ever seen. I began to smile.
"She tells fortunes." I answered.

"And I don't need a stupid crystal ball to do it." She looked at us through the rearview mirror and even though I couldn't see it, I knew she was smiling too. I gave a small laugh. Yuu scooted closer to me and rested his head on my shoulder. My heart skipped a beat a his sudden movement. "She also sells charms and stuff." He added. I watched as he slowly closed his eyes and sighed. "I'm tired." With that his breathing slowed and the grasp around my hand loosened. "Wake me when we get there." He mumbled tiredly. I nodded as a response and rested my head on his. "Ok." I began to close my eyes, wanting to stay like this forever.

We stayed in that position for another 15 minutes before I heard a click. I opened my eyes to see that we had arrived at our destination. Yuu was still peacefully rested on my shoulder, fast asleep, the only difference was he was now hugging my arm tightly.

"Good luck waking him up. I swear he's like a rock once he's fallen asleep." She began to laugh and I soon joined in. "Also you two look adorable."
I began to blush.

"Ms. Amane I could've sworn I've seen you somewhere before. You look so familiar." I said changing the subject. Her eyes widened at my question and she awkwardly fell out of the car and into the parking lot. "Ms. Amane are you ok?" I tried to get out of the car and help her but Yuu acted as deadweight and held me down. I tried to slip out of his grasp but every time I did he'd simply make his way next to me and hold onto me tighter. "I'm fine Mika. I'm gonna be late I'll open up and you wake up Yuu and bring him in." I nodded.
"Ok."

With that she took off and began to open up shop.
"Wake up, Yuu-chan~" Yuu stirred and knotted his eyebrows, but simply went back to sleep and brought himself closer to me. He looked so peaceful. Why can't he always be like this?

"Yuu-chan~"
"One more hour." he mumbled/whined. "Please, Yuu-chan." He stayed motionless, the only movement was from his chest which was rising and falling back down with each breath he took.
I huffed.
"I guessed it's gonna be like that." I opened the car door and brought him into a bridal style. As if knowing exactly what I was doing, he wrapped his arms around my neck and nuzzled his face into my chest. I felt a blush come over me. My heart felt as if it was pounding. I hoped it wasn't, because then I'd probably wake up Yuu. I closed the door with my foot and made my way to Ms. Amane's shop.

I sighed in relief that the door was a push rather than a pull. I pushed the door open with my back, immediately after walking in I stared in awe.

Never have I seen so many potions and spell books in my life, not to mention all the beautiful relics here. I nearly forgot I held Yuu in my arms. As if Yuu was subconsciously begging for attention, he dug his face deeper into my chest.

"I see he didn't wake up." Ms. Amane began to chuckle from behind a counter. I shook my head.
"You were right," I looked down and saw him peacefully sleeping, "he does sleep like a rock."

"Do I know my kid or what?" She pushed up her glasses and began to bring her hair up in a bun.
"So, how are you and my son doing?" A smile was brought to my face.
"A lot better than from the time we met, that's for sure. Now he trusts me." My expression softened as looked down at Yuu once again.
"He's my first friend, and I promise you Ms. Amane, I wouldn't do anything to change that."

"I would." I heard her mumble.
"What?"
"What?" An awkward silence broke out between us before she burst out laughing.
"I'm kidding. Calm down, Mika. Oh you should have seen the look on your face. Price. Less." She continued to laugh as I smiled sheepishly and soon joined in on the laughing.

Soon enough Yuu stirred and opened his eyes revealing beautiful emeralds. "Huh?"

**

I heard the most angelic thing right as I began to wake up. A laugh. It wasn't an ugly cackle nor an annoying giggle, but a pure lighthearted laugh. I'm actually not really that sure if what I had heard was only a part of my dream or if I actually heard such a beautiful laugh. The laugh left me so dumbfounded that I couldn't say anything.
"Huh?"

"Yuu-chan, you're awake." Mika carefully set me down so that I could stand. Was that beautiful laugh, Mika's?
