I rinsed my face with warm water. Looking at myself in the mirror , I watched as a small pout grew on my face. I picked up the light blue towel and brought it to my face before dapping away the excess water.

I breathed in and out one last time. Taking in the fresh air. The scent of salt water and trees instantly relaxed me.

I felt myself in a calm and very relaxed environment. No need to stress. Taking my own advice, I looked over myself in the mirror one last time.

My eyes traced the Beach decorations. Sea shells and star fish decors sat on the decorative plate on the sink.

I read over the Pictures that hung on the wall. It was one that caught my eye in particular.

It had a view of the beach with the most beautiful sunset. I smiled at the picture being right.

Twisting the crystal door nob, I walked into the hall way.

I started to walk in the living room but stopped when I saw papi in his room.

He was looking out of the window , The view from his room was amazing. The sun beamed right in his room making the wall paint brighter.

He sat on his toy chest with the orange masked ninja in his hands.

"What're you doing pap?" I asked walking into his room

He looked up at me with a smile on his face.

"Nothing just sitting here,"

"Hey, it's a lizard right here," papi said excitedly

"where?" I asked walking closer

"Here," he held it out to me

My heart nearly dropped.

"Oh gosh, papi please put it down."

"Why?"

"Its ugly." I gagged

"Haha," his little voice giggled. "Bye, bye Fred." He named it before releasing it back out his window then closing it.

"Gross now you have lizard hands." I told him

"Oh yeah?" He asked holding his hands out to me

"Papi I promise , if you touch me. You'll be out there with little Fred." He laughed

"Go wash your hands." I laughed

Papi and I were standing on the balcony. The view was Breathtaking. I admired how the sunlight beamed from the sky onto the beautiful, blue water , & how The waves washed onto the shore covering most of the smooth sand. You could see little sea creatures swimming around. Even though I was enjoying the gorgeous view , I couldn't help but to think about everything. It has been a week since the incident happened & I haven't heard anything from meek or anybody else. I was worried sick.

I was so caught in my thoughts I didn't even realize papi calling me.

"Ms.Nicki, are you okay?" He asked placing his hand on my forearm
