Don't fear me, lovely," her soft voice whispered. "This is the last time. I promise, Becker. Don't make me do it again."
Looking up at Julie, he could barely look out of one eye. "Julie, I'm sorry. I can't be with you anymore...I'm done." He breathed heavily and he was pinned against the wall. Julie walked over to the kitchen and grabbed a whiskey bottle.
"Julie, please. I-" he began. Before he could defend himself, the Jack Daniels glass bottle came crashing down on his head. Feeling glass shatter, he felt some go into his mouth. Gagging and coughing, he tried to get the glass out before it went down his esophagus and cut his throat to pieces.
Julie beat Becker on the head and in the chest and arms and shoulders with the broken whiskey bottle, cutting him to pieces. Becker tried to fight back and grab her wrist to stop the next blow, but nothing was working. He was already weakened because of the blows he had already received.
"You're so pathetic!" she snapped. She slapped Becker and wrapped her hands around his neck. "Absolutely pathetic."
Sitting up from the bed, Becker's heart raced. He was sweating and he breathed heavily. It was just a dream, he thought. "Oh thank goodness," he whispered. He rubbed his face and looked over at Isabella.
Isabella felt him sit up and she woke up. "Becker, you okay?" she mumbled, rubbing her eyes.
"Yeah. I'm fine," he lied. Isabella looked at him and knew he was lying."Becker, please don't lie," she said.
Becker looked at her and sighed. "It was just a nightmare," he said. He got out of the bed and went over into the bathroom. He turned on the bathroom light and he washed his face with cold water.
Isabella watched and then got out of the bed as well. She went over to him and hugged him from behind. She kissed his shoulder once. She would've kissed his cheek, but she was a little short and wasn't willing to try to kiss his cheek at the moment. "You want anything to help you calm down?" she asked. She gently touched his abs and then just hugged him.
Becker looked at her in the mirror and smiled. "No thank you," he said. "I'm fine." He turned around and held her hands in his. "Come on. I'm feeling better already." He kissed her forehead and then walked back into the bedroom, turning the light back off.
"Just relax," she said. She turned on the bedroom light and made sure it was dim. She made Becker sit down on the bed and she cracked her knuckles. She then began massaging his back. She kissed his cheek once and made sure that her best friend was relaxed to the core. "Just try to go back to sleep, alright?"
Gently pushing him back down on the bed, Isabella sat on his hips and gently massaged his chest, torso, and neck. "Just go to sleep," she whispered. Once she heard his breathing labor, she knew he was knocked out. She got off of him and tucked him into the blankets. Soon after, she fell asleep next to him again.
