Isabella shivered slightly, surprised she had come out of that whole situation alive. As she felt the car park in front of her apartment, she stared at the dashboard.
"Bella?" Becker said softly. "Come on." He got out of the car and he helped her out of the passenger seat even though she was perfectly capable herself. He had his arm around her and he looked at his keys. She had given him a key to her apartment if he ever needed to get away. Unlocking the door, he walked her into her apartment. Taking her to her bedroom, he rubbed the blanket up and down her shoulders.
Isabella took the blanket off once she sat on the bed and she rubbed her face. "I can't believe that just happened," she whispered. "Thank you...so much..." She leaned on him and sniffled. Becker kissed the top of her head. "You're welcome," he replied. He hugged her and comforted her the best he could.
"Bella?" Becker whispered.
"Mhm?" she mumbled, still leaning into him.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He ran his fingers through her hair, which was light brown, fading to a gentle caramel color on the tips.
Isabella smiled and then looked up at him. "I've waited so long to hear those words from your lips, mister. Yes," she said with a smirk on her face. She winked up at him and then quickly leaned in and pecked his lips.
Becker felt the quick kiss and he grinned. "I know you can do better than that," he whispered. Isabella blushed lightly and she scooted up more onto the bed. She sat with her legs crossed and she leaned her forehead against Becker's.
"Oh, I can do better, mister. Much better," she replied. She winked again and held his face in her small hands. Becker sat in front of her, in awe of her beauty. Every small freckle. Every fleck of yellow or green in her hazel colored eyes. Every word she spoke with her soft, velvety voice. It was heaven to him.
Their lips collided and sparks flew in Becker's mind. He closed his eyes and he pulled her body closer to his, having her sit in his lap. Isabella smiled and closed her eyes as well, kissing him with everything she had.
Becker put his hands on her hips and he moved down from her lips to her jawline. He kissed at her jaw gently and then at her neck. Isabella smiled and she ran her fingers through his dark brown hair. "Becker," she breathed. "Hold on a minute, darling." She knew things could go too far fairly quickly if she or Becker didn't set boundaries.
Becker stopped kissing her neck, having just reached her collarbone. "Not yet?" he asked softly. Isabella looked at him and nodded no.
"No. I'm sorry," she whispered.
"That's alright." He kissed her forehead and kept his arms around her.
Isabella yawned and looked out the cracks of the blinds on the window. Stars littered the sky and if one looked hard enough, a comet might fly by.
Becker smiled and kissed her cheek. He then stripped to his boxers and he got under the covers on her bed. Isabella went to the bathroom and changed into an oversized t shirt. She then got in the bed with him and she buried her face into his neck. "I love you, Becker," she whispered.
Becker smiled. "I love you too, Bella."
