Chapter Thirteen

Louis' stomach filled with dread once he'd come out of the shower and heard Harry ordering room service. He slowly stepped back into the bathroom, hoping Harry hadn't hear or seen him come out. He glared at his reflection, resisting the urge to cry. He knew he was big, but he didn't think that he was that big.

He scratched at his sore wrist desperately, looking around for something sharp even though he knew it was futile. He had watched from the bed as Harry searched the hotel room looking for the razors Louis had boughten.

After he had disposed of them, he had kissed the new scars on his tiny wrists and begged "No more, please. No more."

"Lou? Babe are you okay? You've been in there for a while."

"I-I'm okay." He lied through his teeth, tears forming in his eyes before he frustratedly scrubbed at them.

"You're not." Harry decided. "Let me in, sweetheart."

"I. I don't want to eat." Louis confessed, pinching his skin.

"You have to, baby." Harry said sadly.

He shrunk impossibly smaller. "No."

"You do." Harry insisted. "I won't make you eat anymore then you have to. I just need you to be healthy."

"I'm. It's just a diet."

"It's not, Louis."

"I'm not eating." Lou insisted stubbornly.

"You have to." He sighed. "Look, I'm not asking you to eat a burger and chips or anything like that. I just want you to eat and keep it down."

"I can't, Harry. I really-"

"Baby, you have to. It'll be okay. Please, just let me in."

Louis squeezed his eyes shut and debated with himself. He had missed Harry and he was lucky that he's allowed more time with him, even if he knew it was going to end soon. He figures he might as well take advantage of the time he has left.

He unlocked the door with a click and heard Harry breath a sigh of relief.

His eyes grew impossibly sadder once he saw Louis' small, shaking form.

"Louis." He breathed before wrapping him in his arms as Louis buried his face into his neck.

"Please, Harry. Please don't make me." He mumbled pitifully into his neck.

Harry kissed his head once. "You have to. I'm sorry, but I can't let you do this to yourself anymore."

"It's a diet."

Harry ignored this statement and led him outside the bathroom. Louis huffed and went to the opposite side of the bed where he kept his suit case. He bent down to grab his shirt and Harry winced at the way you could see the knots of his spine and his ribs when he breathed.

"What?" Louis asked once he caught him staring, hugging the shirt to his chest self consciously.

Harry shook his head, the tip of his nose burning with the promise of tears. "Christ. I just. Do you not realize how much I love you? How much you mean to me?"

Louis' face flushed. "Harry, stop."

"No. I thought I did a good enough job showing how much I loved you, but apparently I didn't. So I'm going to keep reminding you of how much I love you and how beautiful you are."

"Harry." Was all Louis could muster.

Harry silenced him with a kiss before there was a knock at the door.
